I know that, but he had a northern twang to his voice, but License to Kill was a good film, I would love them to remake OHMSS, although they have to do the sequal to Casino Royal first.

Did you get my bit about Niven and Sellars?

The spoof Casino Royale?

I saw it years ago. Sellars was a genius.

It' s the only " Bond" film which had an american playing " Bond" . But yes Sellars was a complete genius, especially in Dr Strangelove.

If find it strange that your seats are determined when you buy your ticket. I' ve never been to a Cinema that has seat numbers.

Eddie can you do me a favour, my 11 year old wants to see it, but it looks a bit dark, would you do me the honour of giving me an honest opinion of whether it would be suitable for an 11 year old.

Spiderman won' t be too much for an 11 year old, the movie is made for all ages. I think it' s rated PG13. I' m bringing my 8 year old brother to see it.

Even if it is too " dark" (it' s not), kids can' t be psychologically damaged from watching a movie. No one as an adult goes to a therapist because they saw a violent movie as a child. They might however have issues from being over sheltered as a kid.

Yep, Spider-man will always be the Nintendo of superheroes. Todd McFarlane was ousted by Marvel for trying to make Spider-man too dark. He ain' t no Batman! (never mind Punisher, Ghost Rider etc....)

I can' t wait for Friday night though!

Oh my gawd! Eddie, $12.50 for a movie ticket??? Slowly but surely we' re inching our way towards $15 & $20 movie tickets in the future.

They' re usually not, I' m going with a group of about 15 friends (I' ve known them since I was born, so we' re all next to family). They assigned us a big freaking block of the theater to chill in too. Something like 20 seats.

Eddie can you do me a favour, my 11 year old wants to see it, but it looks a bit dark, would you do me the honour of giving me an honest opinion of whether it would be suitable for an 11 year old.
I will definately do that. Expect a full review, along with parental reccomendation sometime Sunday. (I' m going to see it at about 6:45, & partying afterwards. It' s a good weekend!)

What do you expect? It' s IMAX! Spiderman shouldn' t be seen on crappy crackly cinema screens. Quite scary though innit?

It' s why I go to see every good movie I watch on bootleg.

Just back from the Cinema, Spiderman 3 is awesome. I' ll probably go see it in the IMAX soon. I don' t want to give away any spoilers, but I think 11 year old girls will cope

Maybe a bit long, but there was a lot crammed in there

I heard it was horrible... from everyone I know. Nobody liked it at all. I haven' t seen it yet though I' m being taken this weekend. Being a Venom fan I' m outraged at what happened with him in the movie (yes I' ve been told the ending). I also heard Spidey turns emo for nearly 45 minutes and there are a ton of crying scenes. I' m not looking forward to it.

I just saw Spiderman 3. I have mixed feelings about it. I have a lot to say about the movie but I don' t want to give out any spoilers. Considering how great the movie should have been with Venom, the movie was just meh. I was dissapointed but as far as movies go, it was still entertaining. But yes it' s 11 year old safe. I saw kids as young as five and six.

Vote for the most useless character goes to Sand Man. Why the hell is he in the movie?

Hmmm. The story was weak, no doubt. But it was so full of action I couldn' t help but enjoy myself. It does stray pretty far from the comics, and there is a lot of emo, but that' s about as dark as spidey could ever get

I really enjoyed it, purely from a brain removed popcorn munching way. It' s the third movies in the series, I hadn' t expected any oscar winning performances

I saw it for myself today and it was trash. While I' ll admit the action scenes were good they seemed to take up less than a quarter of a movie. Everything else was beyond crappy. Story=shit, acting=shit, dancing(don' t ask)=shit, Emo Parker=shit, Mary Jane=most annoying fucking bitch ever, Mary Jane singing=I wanted to cut myself.

Topher Grace as Eddie Brock... wow. Talk about fucking sad. He was actually worse than I was expecting... and wtf is with his teeth when he became venom (when the mask was peeled away)?! Why did he keep his same unscary, wimpy voice when he turned into Venom? WHY THE HELL DID THEY BUTCHER THE CHARACTER?!?!?!?!

I walked out with a bad taste in my mouth. I feel sorry my dad paid for my family to go to that movie. I don' t plan on ever watching it again.

Just saw Spidey.
Ummm.
I wanted different things to happen, but the stuff that happened wasn' t bad.
Topher was entertaining as Brock. I don' t consider the character in this movie to be Venom proper. This was build-a-character-so-somebody-cares-when-he-comes-back-as-a-badass-in-the-next-movie Venom. He did kick a little ass though.

What I' m encouraged by after seeing this is that they certainly aren' t trying to kill the series, ala X-men3. They way they keep throwing significant characters in there it' s obvious they' re keeping the doors open for a possible sequel or three.

Not bad. I was entertained overall. Certainly better than any other third sequel I' ve ever seen.

Ha-ha. oh yeah. forgot about that one.
I' m not counting LOTR. those three were just one big story really. It' s not like he could have just stopped in the middle.

Get Stand By Me while you' re at it

I got the Del Toro box set of Pan' s Labyrinth, The Devil' s Backbone and Cronos on Monday. Just watched Pan' s Labyrinth, which I hadn' t seen before. It' s incredible. Brilliant story, awesome special effects and superb pacing. It' s left me completely gobsmacked.

Guaranteed to be one of my favourite films when I' ve watched it a couple more times!

Saw Mel Gibsons' The Passion Of The Christ for the first time not too long ago.... .....quite simply stunning in places... ..i never thought Gibson could come up with something as well made as it is....

....the last third lacked imagination perhaps, but overall, positively unique....

They' re like $11.50 here, I' ve resorted to buying tickets at costco now, $15 for 2 Tickets at any Hartkin' s Theater, which is the major theater company around here, for any movie.

And I saw Pan' s Labyrinth, pretty good fantasy movie, I love how people from Spain speak Spanish, they make it sound sophisticated, its a breath of fresh air from the fucking mexicans that ass-rape the language making it sound like vulgar trash.

I recently watched Apocalypto. I' m not sure that that name is supposed to mean. Reminds me of Orgazmo. Mel Gibson is a retard. Anyway this movie was fairly entertaining most of the time. Eating boar testicles added nothing at all to the movie, not sure why it is in there. Must be a Mel thing. The movie wasn' t as gory as people said it was. In fact, it was barely gory at all! The best part was when that one guy tossed the wasp hive at the other guys. I laughed my ass off because people getting stung by hoards of angry wasps is funny.

That movie just makes me wonder how Del Toro could have directed Hellboy. Hellboy wasn' t the worse of the superhero movies, but it was pretty mundane. Pan' s Labyrinth' s quality is so far removed from it.

I just watched Empire of the Sun not long ago on HBO or Cinemax. Christian Bale was amazing at such a young age.

Go watch singapoor movies, since you claim your country is on par with North America & Europe, LOL. Singapoor movies would look like 1930' s american films black & white with no sound.

28 Weeks Later is good if you liked the first one, but not as good as the first one. Lots of shaky camera got a bit overbearing and the ending was lame.

I really liked the second movie, I thought it beat the first one in every department. A real proper sequal, yeah the ending could be better, as it just ends really but sets it up for another 28 later sequal perfectly.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.
