CRANK: I enjoyed the movie because it never took itself seriously. It was just awsome seeing him go on this fucked up ride hes on...the ending was a bit saddening tho :(

Most people may wanna wait for this to come on DVD tho. Shouldnt take long to release so give it a rent when it does.

Adam Sandler rox :)

Why am i not suprised?

Every crap movie has Sandler in them.
Just look at what happend in each of his movie, looks like the creator of the movie hasd a piss idea and then just throw in Sandler in it.

Southpark did a satir on this in their episode when cartman is a robot and just gives out bad movie ideas and add in Sandler in each of them.

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

I liked Happy Gilmore. After that anything he touched was utter crap.

Just watched V for Vendetta. That movie is not good, it' s awesome. The shit that movie says about propaganda, and the way it does it is just awesome. Finally a movie that I thought needed to be made, not one where after it was finished I thought " shit like that shouldn' t exsist" like say Hostel.

I' ve seen your posts around for a while Evil Man. Never responded to them. You serve only to bait and play Devil' s advocate. Your routine is getting old though. Time to move on and play another role ok?

It' s ok if you didn' t get the movie, I understand it was a little detail heavy.

I went to see crank at the weekend, it blew away all my preconceptions.

It was a witty, bloody, downright funny in places rollercoaster ride.

Go and see this on the big screen if you want a real laugh. Defintely the best action film of 2006.

I just watched Akira Kurosawa' s " Throne of blood" (Kumonosu jo) on DVD.
It was fantastic and I enjoyed every second of it. I really recommend you to watch it. Photography, acting, sound, dialogue, it was all perfectly done.
Toshiro Mifune was amazing as he always was.
If you' re a Shakespear fan you' ll like the fact that it' s based on Macbeth.

After watching Kurosawa' s " Throne of blood" the other day i decided to watch another asian masterpiece, but this time a modern movie.
So today I watched the korean movie " Oldboy" . Ok, a little late perhaps, I should' ve seen it ages ago but I never got to it.
It' s easily one of the best movies ever made. I will probably never forget about Oldboy.
If you haven' t seen it, you owe it to yourself to do it.
The movie starts out simple but it gets better and better and the ending is just fantastic. Also, this movie is not for weaklings, it' s a disturbing movie in many, many ways.

Lucky # Slevin: I fuckn loved it! This is the style Im gonna strive for if I ever get to making a film. I am gonna study the shit outta this movie. I may never achieve what I want but Im gonna damn well try. Short film after short film I will eventually come out with a real film and you will all remember the name Masse! You will be wowed by his style you will wish you knew him in the flesh!

...dreams...sigh...

To be real honest tho I do plan on making a film. But I need to start somwhere and Im heavy hitting my way thru drafts for my first short film. I can envision it I just need to learn the tools required for it. Audio is gonna be my hardest area to nail down properly thats for sure.

He wants that Majik, playing hard to get won' t turn him off any more.

I just finished Good Night and Good Luck. And I thought it was great. I almost wish It' d been done in color. (I set visits, and everything seemed so much more engrossing in full color)

Also finished Miyazaki' s Porco Rosso, which I would reccomend to anyone. Miyazaki does really great stuff.

I have just seen Will Ferrell' s latest movie Talladega Nights The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
and it was dreadful! It had one or two funny moments but overall it was shit, so if you are expecting something like Anchor Man don' t waste your money going to see this!

I loved porco rosso - I had hard times with this pig-like guy at first though :)

GN&GL was great too.

I just hate how retarded Will Ferrel' s acting is - it' s like seeing some poor comedy from the 80' s .

Been so impressed by Brittish flicks since 28 days later, everything I' ve seen has been awesome! (even Love Actually was pretty good!)

Recent Brit movies at the cinema

Severeance - Brilliant flick, horror/comedy, scary in parts and damn hilarious towards the end.

Children of Men - just saw this last night, really good but a bit slow and never gives much away. you kinda leave the cinema thinking " What the hel lhappened there?" , but that seems to be the film' s intention. Really well shot and very stylish.

Taladega Nights - Not quite as good as Anchorman, but still a great laugh.

Anyone seen Clerks 2 yet?

I got the movie perfectly - it just wasn' t that amazing, really. Good movie, nothing more.

Anyway, I saw Survivor Island or something, it sucked, the only good parts were when manuel was fucking that blonde bitch. Also saw " Unleashed" and Boyz N The Hood which I thought were pretty good. And finally Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 which I liked.

Heheh I saw Jackass 2! Its funny as hell and all but you know its more meant for DVD then anything else but twas only $4.00 so Im not gonna complain about seeing it in a nice ass theatre with DLP and all the works.

So yeah good funny time but more of a DVD deal then a big screen.

BTW Johnny Noxville certainly proved Hollywood has not taken him over at all. He was by far the most insane of the group, ousting Steve-O and Bam (who cried twice).

Saw the Illusionist. Meh. WAY too predictable.

Saw All the Kings Men. While I liked Sean Penn in this movie, and I' m a fan of Jude Law, I thought the movie kinda sucked. Just boring I guess.

Let' s see...it' s been a bit since my last posting on Kikizo...but here' s a few:

Aeon Flux
The Wild
Desparation
(based upon book written by Stephen King)
and Scooby Doo 2

There are others, but their names reside on the fringes of my mind and refuse to make themselves known at this time.

Grandma' s Boy - Pretty damn funny. It was odd seeing a Demonik in there as an Xbox game. This game is meant for the stoner/gamer type in every way.

Im not gonna complain about seeing it in a nice ass theatre with DLP and all the works.

Film destroys DLP in image quality. 35mm motion picture film (4-perf per frame) film resolves more than even 4K DLP (that would be 4000p to you). The large majority of DLP systems installed in theaters (99.99%) are only 2K. However Jackass 2 was shot largely on video, so it' s gonna look pretty bad for the most part anyway, except the parts which were shot on film.

Went to see " Flags of Our Fathers" last Sunday. It was absolutely amazing, I was expecting something along the lines of " Saving Private Ryan" on Iwo Jima, but it was really different.
