MGS4 story - we do now a bit from the 15 min extended trailer , and from what I' ve seen it' s pretty fuckin impressive , but then again it always looks impressive on those damn trailers :)

My take on thinks is that Raiden is also a clone of Big Boss (both called Jack OR more likely his son OR since Solidus killed his parents and raised him he could be a clone of Solidus; leading me to fact that Solid has recessive genes, Liquid has/had the dominant genes and Solidus had the " perfect balance" although it should be noted that supposedly the 3 " official" sons of Big Boss can' t reproduce) ;p

Be more specific. I went and read the entire thread and i don' t see what my take on Raiden' s birth has to do with any of that. Am i missing something?

...if you play a JRPG in japanese and you can read the 100 different menus and understand the verbal dialogue, then great, no problem....

...if you can' t, like the majority of morons who import JRPG' s, you are little more than an impatient idiot who want' s to say " i played X a year before you" ...even though what you have done in reality actually amounts to ruining a great game for yourself whilst simultaneously making yourself look like a d*ck......

I hate when people look at 360 and PS3 and say well you have the same games just a new coat of paint. Which is such bullshit, the most important difference is you have more ram which means you can have more stuff going on at one. The games are already showing to be much greater in scope. The graphics are pretty far down my list as to why 360 and ps3 are so much better then the previous generation consoles.

Take a looks at Cod3, 24 players online, advanced physics,AI,size of levels,more interaction with environment,functional effects,more realistic models,more authentic everything. Cod3 is going to be wicked on pc/360/ps3, but on Wii, well it won' t be the same game.

Better yet look at a game like Huxley. Servers (cities) that fit 5000 people who live in a persistant world, gaining Exp., trading weapons/armor, up to 200 player matches 100 vs. 100 at a time! . Wii could not support such a game, at least not one comparable with huxley for 360/pc.

Its not just the graphics that seperate 360 and ps3 from the other generations its the feel,physics,the size, the scope and the gameplay possibilities. Infact I will go so far as to say that 360 and ps3 open up more doors with more proccessing power and more ram then Wii with its controller. I' m sure that the Wiimore will accomodate some very unique and fun gaming experiences but when you want to play a traditional game the Wiimote won' t save you from the fact that you' re still playing last years FPS or last years Whatever. I' d rather play the latest and greatest like Gears of War, Huxley or MGS4 than GameCube quality remakes with the Wii controller. I' m not saying Wii will suck, I' m just saying that if I could only pick one console it wouldn' t be a Wii, it would be my second.

Yes and it isn' t a great idea to import a story heavy/based game without an understanding of the language.
However, you shouldn' t have quoted me, and further more, said no to it, if it has no bearing on my comment.
Perhaps quoting the source would have been a better option.
