well according to their official announcement that came in June the event doesn' t actually start until the 27th. I hope it starts today but I haven' t seen anything on any site to contradict the original schedule.

I hated playing the FEAR demo (the one I got in OXM) altho it did have its moments.

Have they announced any specifics about X06 yet?

People without a Gamer PC?

It' s the same as saying, who cares about GRAW/Condemned on PS3 when you could have played it on the 360

I just played the FEAR demo and I enjoyed it. Not the greatest game ever but I certainly liked it! Sadly I probably won' t be buying it simply with all the other AAA titles coming out before the end of the year.

Really? I found it a little eerie with the girl, but poop-pants-able? (heh, new words)

Yeah, It' s a nice game, but the controls really did ruin the experience for me. They felt like they were directly ported from a pc. Having to look at something exactly, just to interact with it. I.E. trying to float your reticle over those ladders in the beginning? Easy with a good mouse, but it was a pretty sad event with the 360' s thumbstick.

Not to mention, his movement is built for WASD configuration. On the PC, if you move, you move at one speed, because the keyboard doesn' t have the range of a stick. So they direct ported that, and there' s no walking, creeping, or jogging to be found, simply sprinting in 10 cm bursts.

If they fix that, the game would rock, but untill then, I' ll pass.

I just went on my xbox.com with the swedish section it said...

Vi visar de spännande filmsekvenserna i realtid samtidigt som det händer i Barcelona onsdagen den 27 september klockan 19:00. Gör dig redo för några STORA nyheter.

" gör dig redo för några STORA nyheter."

Stora=huge/big- observe the caps on " STORA" .

Since bungie said they have something to show and so does remedy,im guessing halo3 and alan wake playable footage or new trailer.

I also asume they have GEars of war playable there, and Fable trailer or playable.

Perhaps some Mass effect?
And if we are lucky some english version of Blue dragon.

If they think Viva pinata and Shadowrun playable is something " HUGE" they can fukk themself.

X06: Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey HD Videos on the Way
Microsoft' s " Bringing It Home" campaign continues.
by Erik Brudvig

September 25, 2006 - Microsoft has shown just how powerful of a PR tool the Xbox Live Marketplace can be this past week through their " Bringing It Home" campaign. Beginning at the start of the Tokyo Game Show, Xbox Live members have been given access to HD trailers, gamer pics and themes, new Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II maps, and game demos in just a few days time. And Microsoft isn' t done yet.

The " Bringing It Home" series of Marketplace downloads is set to continue through X06 with a special series of trailers coming this Wednesday to kick off the show in Barcelona. Xbox 360 owners that log on to the Marketplace on Wednesday will find HD trailers for Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. The trailers for these two highly anticipated RPGs were originally unveiled last week at Tokyo Game Show but will now be available to the general public at their highest quality.

There will be several new game announcements, including a new game from Rare.

Alan Wake will be there, probably a trailer or a technical demonstration.

Gears of War will be there with emphasis being put on the gameplay in the solo campaign and the co-op/multiplayer side of the game.

Bungie will announce a new IP, hopefully it' ll be online focused.

Ubisoft may announce The next Ghost Recon, but then they may wait until after RB6, SCDA and the (MIA) PS3 version of GRAW.

Mass Effect will be there, and hopefully we' ll see some new gameplay footage.

Huxley will be there, probably playable.

Call of Duty 3, Brother in Arms 3 and Medal of Honour: Airbourne could be there, ...at leat one of them will. If one was to be missing i' d say it' d be MoH, and CoD3 and BiA3 are much closer to release.

Other stuff i' d like to see are; Ninja Gaiden 2, Resident Evil 5, Alone in the Dark, Killer Instinct 3, After Burner, Shenmue 3/Trilogy etc...

As for demo' s, i' m hoping for either a RB6 or SCDA multi-player demo!
