Nintendo has even started defending it...the minute you start defending your product spells problem which ain' t a good sign...but maybe e3 will give them time to do something.

The logo is really cool.. maybe because you can' t instantly see that it says " Wii" .

Anyway, I hated the name " PlayStation" at first but that didn' t stop it from stealing the entire market from Nintendo and Sega.

I think the comparison with other strange names is kind of stupid.
Gizmondo... the name was too long, the product sucked and the software line up sucked even more! I don' t think that' s a product comparable with REVOLUTION.
Google... it' s a website and not an electronics product. Websites are supposed to have crazy names.
iPod... sounds like a logical name and it' s easy to say. Can' t be compared to " Wii"

I think Wii will be a success in France where it sounds like their word for " yes" .

MAjik - take a closer look at this madden logo (red one) - the black borders around it and the red filling - especially that red part ,it' s just a changed color balance to focus on red channel.

Another fishy thing about it is that no trustworthy site has it plus Nintendo made that name with mainstream in mind - and that Logo is to agressive/hard to read I guess.

Those blue ones are also pretty cheap - that glowing effect is so easy to make, nintendo never had that poor quality of ads.

I still love it though and would love to see it on my rev.

It' s not cool for gamers , it is a good mainstream marketing move.

Whenever I look at " Wii" it sucks , but somehow when I look at their (nintendo) logo on their site (you know those nice silver/grey letters) it looks appealing somehow.

If that logo is fake I really hope the real one isn' t the one seen in the official " Wii" -video.
I usually admire Nintendo for their bravery and their innovations but right now I think they' re starting to almost copy Apple with similar sleek design, funny product names and so on.

Well, like i said, i could be wrong. But if it IS fake then it' s a very good one.

I want you to bear in mind that i posted those logos less than 30 minutes after the announcement so either someone knew way before hand and put it together in advance or ot' s actually genuine.

The logo is agressive in that image because it' s for an NFL game and it' s red because the EA logo is red.

Even Though I hate it so much, you got to admit, its only a name. It dosent change the system itself at all. Even if it is a peice of piss. Its only a name.

that glow is called " diffuse glow " it takes one mouse click to produce

I' d feel a hell of a lot better if they were the real logo because the other one in the video is rubbish!
