ok, here goes my all time favorites on every console/computer i own:
> commodore 64: ghosts and goblins (i still can' t get enough, tough i love its sequell even more, but never had that on the commodore 64)
> commodore amiga 500: lotus turbo challenge 2 (a friend came at 0:1;00 to bring me this game. at first i was anoyed to be called out of bed in a weekday, but after playing this game, i got out and get it for myself the next weekeind. man, those full screen graphics sped by really fast, and for its time, it looked exelent)
> sega megadrive: ghouls and ghosts. (when i walked in a big town, i saw a demo of this game running on a tv. the console whas hidden behind the counter, so i asked the salesman how they managed to hook up a arcade board to a tv. he replied, its not a arcade board, but the sega megadrive. the weekeind that followed i got the money, and got home with a megadrive, ghouls and ghosts, and super hang on.)
> supernes: donkey kong country/supermario world. (i can not choose. mario' s superb gameplay is deep and rewarding, but graphics underpowered the console. on the other side is donkey kong country, a little less deep gameplay, but still really tight, and graphics that wowed me when i layed my eyes on them. man, such high resolution, and super smooth animation, that monkey gave mario a run for its money.... still, i enjoyed both, and can' t deside witch one got played more...)
> mega cd: batman returns. (with scaling as seen in the arcade outrun, and fast shooting gameplay, the driving part of this game kicks ass. i STILL play this one. also jaguar xj220 had the same scrolling, but never made the same impact on me as batman did.....)
> playstation: ridge racer type 4. (man, this game' s graphics shows so much details, and gives exelent controll over your car. i still play this game often.)
> nintendo 64: super mario 64. (it does not got the looks, but boy oh boy did this game revolutionized the 3D platform in manny ways. still the best platformer in 3D if u ask me)
> dreamcast: crazy taxi. (after playing this game in the arcade' s, and hearing sega where about to release it on dreamcast without loosing much detail, i bought me a dreamcast just for this game. and i am still glad i did...... the dreamcast has manny classics in its collection.)
> playstation 2: gran turismo 3. (i know, part 4 is bigger, but still, gran turismo 3 A-spec made a bigger impact on me. man, this game is deep, has superb graphics, and never gets dull.)
> xbox: outrun 2. (i bet that this will be replaced by outrun 2006 coast to coast, but still this game rocks, and has deeper gameplay then most people know about. watch team marubaku' s superreplay' s of outrun 2, and you see how this game has to be played.)
> psp: ridge racer(s). (just as the xbox game, this will soon be outrun 2006 coast to coast, but ridge racer looks sharp, and showed as a first generation how all games can look in the future. and this game is big. exelent is even not close enough to discribed the exelence of this game, both in system link, as in the one player mode.)
> xbox 360: project gotham racing 3. (i know, its the only game i own, but i bought it after a few long gaming sessions with my nephew. online is great. to bad for the crash bug when you got the premium package with all contents. then, switching from game to friendslist can result in a system chrash witsh needs you to turn your console off, and then on again. the good thing about the dashboard is you can invite friends really easy.)
there are so much more games that i love, but these defined fun and gameplay on these consoles. and that i am a racing fan can easilly be seen
