Great, Hopefully there wont be any problems, I' m sure it will be fine though. Post it up here when you get it and say whether or not it works for you. It may help other people out in the future.

Yepp.

Whatever happends its gonna be atleast fun to see 360 in HD which i can with my TFT.
Ofc i already been playing in HD for years on my pc,and seen 360 in HD with my TFT in game videos at 720p.-
But nvm.

Anyway i dont wanna trash the Tv i bough, the LCD,the screen is superb in DVD so far.
I know its not 720p which i see n HD-movies in.
But even at normal movies it looks fucking amazing, and the dolby virtual sound is amazing,

Evil man be quiet.
I have only 3 output on the back, and these colors are red, white and yellow.
2 of them are for audio, one for video.

Btw in my tv manual it says you can plug in this tv to a analog pc.
But you need a Dvi-Vga adapter and then put in the vga cable into the adapter.

Does that mean my Dvi is a dvi-i or wtf its called.

Watch how you speak to me you fuck.

And we speak english here buddy WTF language is that website in, dont link that shit to me.

I' m confused here. You bought an HDTV that doesn' t have component inputs? This doesn' t sound right at all....

He probably has an SDTV lolz.

Why would a TV have RCA inputs and NOT components? eh?

It doesn' t make any fucking sense.

Quez, you really should have done some research before you bought the TV. Doesn' t that one only run at 50Hz?!

I checked it out online too majik, and it stated it accepted PAL/NTSC and secam or something... so it should be fine with 60hz.. i know a few people with ' 50hz' tv' s that play 60hz perfectly

It' s strange that it doesn' t have VGA. Most decent HDTV' s have a vast array of inputs. Quez you really should have taken my advice and bought a large monitor and some fancy speakers.

However, even after repeatedly stating i wouldn' t be buying a HDTV for some time i have been looking and would appreciate suggestions as audio/visual technologies aren' t really where i shine. It would HAVE to be directly compatible with a DVD recorder so i can capture my own footage/screens for my forthcoming uni work.

I dont have a STV you idiot.
It can play up to 720p and 1080i.

What do you think a HD-ready/HD-compitable tv stands for.

There is a way to get around.
As i got a cable with vga+red/blue/green cable with my tv.
But you need a Decoder then.

Also the TV is fine.
It has perfect picture.
and works perfect in HD to my computer.
Beat it noobs :P

Also its nice that my tv without HD things fixed play my 360 at 480p.
Looks better in 854 pixels then with 640 pixels.
Yepp my LCD plays dvd movies and games in 480p as it is now.

lol, happy to help where we can quez.

And evil, what good is a progressive scan tv without a component input? As 480p usually uses Component unless you have a digital source, and what SDTV is going to is really going to have DVI?

So I know you were probably trying to be a smart ass, funny or something but get real.

RCA cables can transmit 480p signals fine. It makes perfect sense actually, no need to put component on a TV with such a low quality max imput of 480p really.
