No, I would have the same taste as a kid if I still actively watched stuff like Dragon Ball. I don' t, I think its good because when I watched it I liked it, it' s as simple as that, my opinion isn' t going to change now, or when I' m 30, or when I' m 40, or when I' m 100 ***ing years old, because the bottom line is I enjoyed it and that makes it good.

The difference is
The horror movie wasn' t aimed at a specific time period and as such the production is expected to be appreciated afterwards as it has timeless qualities.

Dragon Ball has a specific targeted age group and as such, by growing out of that age group you should today come to realise that the quality of the series is lacking.

I don' t like Dragon Ball anymore, but I liked it when I was younger. Why? Because it has no good qualities in my present opinion as I' ve learned more with time.

Lots of anime and manga can be really good even for adults and that means those productions have good qualities even by adult standards. Dragon Ball does not have such standards in my up-to-date opinion. That means Dragon ball sucks in my opinion. And it' s a well founded opinion.

If you had your first girlfriend when you were 15, remembering about that relationship doesn' t mean you like 15 year old girls, it is merely appreciating a good memory.

DBZ = Good, fun memories, and thats why its good. My current tastes don' t take anything away from that.
