That kind of perspective lends itself to " action" rather than stealth. I wonder whether the camera is fixed like that or whether the outdoor and indoor cameras are different.

If they' re aping GRAW then i can' t wait to see how they handle the stealth aspect and how the active camouflage fits into things. If it' s goingto be much more action orientated then outdoing GRAW could prove tough.

I seriously can' t wait to see direct feed 720p/1080p shots so we can see just how good it looks!

RE4 type of camera would be perfect for both sneaking and action.(Sam Fisher does it all the time - he was the first to use RE4style camera for shooting)

According to IGN, the trailer these pics are from, kojima took some liberties with the camera so people better understand what is going on.

I didn' t want to say anything but i thought exactly the same thing. I guess we' ll need some hi-res direct feed screens (which we' ll no doubt get in a couple of days) to know for sure.

What i am sure of straight away is that this doesn' t meet the visual quality of Gears of War. I' d be more inclined to compare it visually to Ubisofts games.

Also IGN report that Kojima aid it will be released at the very end of 2007 at best - which means 2008 release is very likely to happen.

As for Visuals , as always cut-scenes are beathtaking while gameplay is good enough to play between them.

Now that it was mentioned in this thread I say we stop calling the over the shioulder view the RE4 style camera and refer to it as the Splinter Cell cam because that' s the game where it truly came from RE4 just jacked it from Splinter Cell. We need to give credit where it is due!

This is what i expected,Majik said before that ofc gears of war will get a bit downgraded from " real time" pic to real graphic while playing.

Same with MGS4.

It still looks awesome.
