If you like Sonic I would say get Sonic and the secret rings. It' s a half come back. If you like DBZ get Budokai 2 Pick up Zelda no matter what. Might get Godfather as well. Although graphically not really superb it does use the wii-mote in some good ways. Don' t know if you' re European or not. But if you want to play online with your Wii go get Mario Strikers in like 4 days.

Im just sad i have Zelda for the GCN, my save game was corrupted so i have to start over, it just pains me that i dont have it for the Wii now that i have one!

That would be for the US. For Europe it would be Mario Strikers 25 may Metroid has been dated 27 september for Europe for a while now. Even before they put up a American release date. Battalion Wars 2: 22 september Mario Galaxy would be the 1st of june for Europe and no date there yet for the US. Super Smash Bros. 30 september. Well all of this is according to IGN if ou search the game and look in game details. Find it hard to believe that we would get most of the games earlier than the US. I' m used to having to wait like 6 months or a damn year to get things here in Europe so I find it rather untrust worthy.

The anti-aliasing is almost too good! At least the game will be in true 16:9. Too bad Nintendo was too lazy to incorporate a 16:9 flag for their games so my TV would snap to that aspect automatically for appropriate games. Even the Xbox 1 did this (though only in 480i). It' s hard to tell which aspect games like Wario Ware or Marble Mania are supposed to be (hint: they' re both 4:3). Unfortunately there is no quality standard on the Wii like there is on the 360 (where every game must be at least 720p). Games can look as crappy as the developers want. And they often love their 480i 4:3.

That' s just because you have a gay TV. And that Anti aliasing looks like... none, or 2x at the absolute best, but nah... it' s not sharp enough for 2x.

I' m fairly confident it will look good in motion, but I can' t tell what the hell I' m looking at in those screenshots. The aliasing isn' t such a huge deal with SD TVs since they tend to have somewhat blurry displays anyway. Still, I' m not sure what the obsession is with eliminating so-called " jaggies," other than that many " hardcore gamers" are borderline malnourished and have varying degrees of obsessive-compulsive disorder.

ORIGINAL: Evil Man That' s just because you have a gay TV. Explain. Your TV knows when Wii games are 16:9 and when they are 4:3? I bet you have to stretch and unstretch it yourself, unless you leave it stretched all the time, which of course would be mega gay.

Malnourished? The fact is, I literally wouldn' t be able to tell the difference between this and one of the Metroid games for GameCube, regardless of AA (which is non existant in any case). This game is not a good showcase for Wii, I know the console is capable of more.

ORIGINAL: Evil Man Yeah... I play Wario Ware which is 4:3 and Zelda which is 16:9 without changing anything... I don' t see how your TV would be the only model or brand in the world to recognize Wii 16:9, especially since real 16:9 flags are embedded into the video signal and can even be recorded to video tape and works just great on my TV. The thing is that the Wii does not use the 16:9 flag unless there is some hidden setting in the console I haven' t stumbled upon. I' d like to see a Youtube video of your TV switching on its own without powering off the Wii or pressing any buttons on any remote when switching games. By the way, what make/model TV are you using?

Um.. 16:9 issue? I don' t get it? When i first got my Wii with component. I simply turned on the machine, went to the options, switched it to 16:9, no problem or problems since... Also, i would not judge Metroids visuals based on screenshot' s.. Silky-smooth 60fps is more important than over-pushed texture details, the art and level designers do thier job properly to keep the game looking atmospheric. If the controls are all there, this game' s going to be a killer.
