I think what Kojima meant is : he won' t develop MGS4 while considering a futur port to 360, that is he will not remove some features specific for ps3 (like a requirement to use sixaxis in certain part of the game) just because " if" the 360 get the port, it will not be compatible.
so he' ll develop MGS4 with all the features and ideas he has in mind, and he doesn' t care if this will work on MGS4 version 360.

Im pretty sure Majik caught that as well, sounds like he is " comforting" the ps3 boys so they wont worry that the Xbox will make their version worse we he announces the 360 version soon!

Yeah, that' s what the last sentence summed up, but if that' s what he meant, why did he start off with: " we have not changed the game in any form with the idea of ' oh, we got to do this on 360.' Put aside whether or not we' re developing for 360 or not"  This has gone from impossible to quasi-probable on the rumors list.

It' s coming,since MGS4 coming late 2008 probably the 360 version willk be quiet until mid 2008.

I' ll be playing it on the console with the superior version, however that could sway either way.

Who cares? If it comes, it comes. If not and people need it, they can buy a PS3! If people don' t need it, then they don' t need to buy a Ps3.
Simple math. 360 still have plenty of games to tempt people with, and Ps3 seems like it will get it' s fair share, in due time.

people forget that guys like Hideo dont always control things like that, as there are investors to please as well, the installed base of 360 is not to be ignored!
