You have reason to be concerned. Luckily though while your warranty has now expired, Microsoft will still replace it if it goes because it' s a 2005 model. They agreed to replace any machine that was made pre-Jan 1st 2007 for free and so you' re ok. It' ll suck if it does go, but it won' t cost you anything.
