No , there are definitely more BAD console games , but good console games have higher level of polish as default.

That' s my personal observation over the years.You don' t see it cause you' re used to PC quality games (and this quality can go really high with some games - Quake , Warcraft and Half Life games are a really polished productions that are typical for great console games).

I definitely have to agree however; console games as a rule usually have a higher level of polish than PC games, and that' s because PC games aren' t optimized for anything. Either you have the hardware to run AA or you don' t. On PCs, all of those options are extras, while on consoles they are required so the game does not come away looking like it was made with an Etch-a-sketch.

I dont see why console games have a higher level of polish, i really dont! Iv have played console games now for 6 years, and there hasnt been any difference to me between the good console games, and the good PC games

That' s probably because most of the people ragging on PC' s have no idea what they' re talking about. Most likely they don' t even have PC' s capable of running games, let alone good ones. In the fifteen or so years I' ve been gaming (on multiple platforms), I' ve found the quality of games to be pretty much equal. I' ve had just as many fantastic and flawless gaming experiences on PC as I' ve had on console.

Game Rankings doesnt necesarily have anything to do with polish! Find an FPS on a console better than Halflife 2. Find a RTS on a console better than Starcraft or Warcraft? Find a western RPG (i wont mention Jrpg, since they arent released on PC) better than Fallout.

These games are 100% polished, i dont think its fair to say more console games are polished, if i go to a store ill find 80% crap titles for the consoles and 80% crap titles for the PC.
