well im just trying to learn the language as flawless as possible, and sometimes you can learn yourself by teaching others, or that is, if im right about what I said, something i believe i am.

How can a console be the best by far,when its not even out yet?
Ps3 people talk about mgs4,but that will probably come to EU in 2008,and we have not seen any gameplay yet...
I love mGS serie,but MGS2 was like a movie...

playstation 3 will be region free, so we can just put the american game in.

besides in the kojima directed trailer, he put a strict policy on getting the game out in 2007, so when he does, he will be breaking it if it comes out in 2008

Cetra,xbox360 is also region free,its just that just condemend,ob and pgr3 is the Region free games.

Sony has said their goal is to have every game region free,so you cant say that mgs4 will be that,and if so,who says it will be translated in time?
WHat i mean is,PUblisher is the ones who put on the region code,not MS,wont be SONY with ps3 either.

its not rocket science, i dont understand the xbox situation, but if the machine is region free, it means that its based to read all the regions, so game from another region should be perfectly played on any ps3.

Besides, all third party games are included in SCE' s catalogue as well, as well as for being approved and made ready for the console before relase.

Anyway, Majik, developers and most of the people in the computer industry says that the PS3 is not superior. It might be slightly better but the difference will barely be noticable.
It surely won' t motivate a $600 price-tag anyway.

How the heck this this go from a PS3 thread to a grammar school? I have little issue with all caps posting but when people start to talk about it for nearly 3 pages...it gets a little odd.

People, Please.. The power difference this generation, for the most part at least, will be negligible. Stop wasting time with mine is bigger + better than yours.

Each system has it' s ups and downs depending on what you want and who you ask. Both are good systems in their own ways..

Though talking about PS3, ign had an Q&A with Naughty Dog who had that cool cg looking trailer from E3 - Now I don' t know if it has been posted but in the article it was asked..

IGN: Of course, we think that the most important question that a lot of people have right now is " how much of that footage was CG and how much was real-time?"

Wells (Naughty Dog): The entire trailer was rendered in real-time using our PS3 game engine. All of the models, textures, shaders and effects are in-game.

GN: What kind of technology are you using? Is it a proprietary engine or does it use a popular toolset like Unreal of Offset?

Wells: The engine we are using is completely proprietary and is being developed here at Naughty Dog. We have some of the industry' s top engine programming talent dedicated to getting the most out of the PlayStation 3 possible.

IGN: Insomniac and Naughty Dog have a history of sharing assets and technology. Is that the case this time as well? Does Resistance and this game work on similar stuff?
