Full auto2 no longer exclusive? - Aug 24, 2006 03:24
I saw this earlier this morning and couldn' t make out if it was true or not but it seems to be so. Anyway for anyone interested in it.

http://www.clubskill.com/game_news/4214/GC%202006:%20Full%20Auto%202%20no%20longer%20a%20PS3%20exclusive

if it is true I know a game I would like sega to have a change or heart of going being exclusive.

Interesting. If it' s true and VF follows then i don' t see what could save Sony' s ass.

I think even if this is true, it' s a different matter from VF. The game was originally an xbox game, there was no reason for number 2 being an exclusive ps3 game.

why doesn' t this suprise me? Would they really make people jump consoles just to play a sequel? It just didn' t seem logical.

Would people have really missed this game if it remained exclusive?

Full Auto didn' t sell very well at all, mainly because it was a BAD game. The fact that the sequel was announced as a PS3 exclusive wasn' t a big deal as far as the console having the game and 360 not having it, but more the impression gamers would get of seeing SEGA drop Microsoft' s platform as soon as PS3 showed up, ...kind of like Namco and Ridge Racer 7.

It wouldn' t be missed if we didn' t get it but some would question why and probably get the impression that SEGA were leaning towards Sony' s machine.

Granted but VF4 was totally overshadowed by Tekken: Tag Tournament, 4 and 5 and Soul Calibur 2 and 3. Hell, even the 3D Mortal Kombat games sold better than Virtua Fighter did on Sony' s machine.

360 only really has the DoA series. Moving VF5 to 360 (as well as PS3) would be a smart move and i have no doubt that the game would sell far better on 360 than it would on PS3.

Doubt it, doesn' t look very appealing. Latest videos i saw were poor, and i heard mostly bad stuff about the original.

We' re still waiting on an official announcement

Keep waiting " Club skill" idiots.

I don' t believe this site , not even a bit :)

Yeah , Xbox owners are hungry for a good , deep and extremely balanced fist to fist combat - but the lack of online would hurt even more on 360...

Doa4 is undeniably great online however I hate the way people disconnect just to keep their levels. So if vf5 did do a cross over I would like them to do it so that the only person that knows you grade is you and when you enter a room it' s all conceiled.....But that is about the only game left that i' m really envying.
