Full Auto didn' t sell very well at all, mainly because it was a BAD game. The fact that the sequel was announced as a PS3 exclusive wasn' t a big deal as far as the console having the game and 360 not having it, but more the impression gamers would get of seeing SEGA drop Microsoft' s platform as soon as PS3 showed up, ...kind of like Namco and Ridge Racer 7.
It wouldn' t be missed if we didn' t get it but some would question why and probably get the impression that SEGA were leaning towards Sony' s machine.
I think even if this is true, it' s a different matter from VF. The game was originally an xbox game, there was no reason for number 2 being an exclusive ps3 game
Granted but VF4 was totally overshadowed by Tekken: Tag Tournament, 4 and 5 and Soul Calibur 2 and 3. Hell, even the 3D Mortal Kombat games sold better than Virtua Fighter did on Sony' s machine.
360 only really has the DoA series. Moving VF5 to 360 (as well as PS3) would be a smart move and i have no doubt that the game would sell far better on 360 than it would on PS3.
