MS appeared to have so many coups in one day they could be an African republic. The new avatars while looking a bit twee, should entice the casuals, I suppose we can see what they' ve been working on and why there wasn' t a dashboard update in the spring.

If they manage to get this out the door before Sony gets the much delayed Home up and running, will the latter have as much impact as it originally was intended? Personally I think that' s a huge whole knocked in Sony' s wall, but we' ll see what return broadsides they' ve got soon.

And I' ll hold my hands up and say I' ve never played a FF game, will XIII be that much of an experience?

Mirrors Edge looked kinda boring but Dead Space was great! I rarely like the art direction in a western game but this one is cool and has smooth animations although i think the gameplay is kinda slow. The last part was cool too.

This is one of my most anticipated games. Forget about smooth animations those animations are almost perfect! I didnt like the combination play with the girl but i have to see more gameplay videos to make up my mind about that. In the last bit of the video it said " Holiday 2008" for a second then gametrailers switched to their ending animation (or whatever you call that).

There are some people who take gaming way too seriously, witness all the tantrums on-line when playing CoD4 for example. I mean the dude has to calm down or he' ll have a coronary or something, there are more important things in the world than this.

The WII has some nice drums I might have to check that out.

Personally I could care less about the avatars. A chat group is something myself and the group of friends I play with has wanted for a while, and we' re finally getting it.
