I' ve seen relationships that begin with sex, or are based around sex. My friends are all horny stereotypical guys, who as nice people as they are, are constantly looking for the next chick to tap, (or a chick to tap in some cases). I also see their relationships. There' s no logic in it. We' re animals, there' s nothing sacred about human beings. Providing for your urges is the foundation of psychological health. We now have the ability to cheat the system and have sex without pregnancy. There is no reason to deprive yourself of a basic need in order to save yourself for that one person you do want to procreate with. We can have it both ways.

Safe sex isn' t 100% assured, and I don' t have the means to be a father, nor is that an experience I want to put my girlfriend through. There' s a defendable viewpoint against just about everything I' ve said here, but if I don' t want to chance putting somebody I care about in that position, why would I even start?

Which is why statistically speaking, people who have loads of sexual partners are not as satisfied with sex as a person who is committed to one person?

4.) I kind of think sex is a pretty special ' gift' , if you will, to take part in when you get married. I mean, hell it' s not like I don' t have the urge to have sex and I' ve had more than my fair share of opportunities but being able to show that kind of self control and save myself for one person... that seems pretty special.

To be honest virginity is not even something I expect from girls anymore. Finding one these days is next to impossible... especially hot ones. I' m not settling for anything less than a girl that looks like a model. I' m not going to kid myself that there' s some insanely hot girl out there that' s also a virgin that I' m just going to randomly stumble across.

When I do find that special girl it will mean a lot to know that she loves me enough to hold off on sex for marriage because it' s one of my strong beliefs, regardless of whether of they' ve had sex. Having a strong relationship that can survive without sex will most likely survive the long haul. My last girlfriend couldn' t handle it and got some on the side which reinforced my point.

Besides, I' ve gone 22 years without it and I' m fine. It' s not like holding off on sex is going to kill me. I have a good life without it.

Ornodeal pretty much nailed it. Since I' ve never had it it' s not something I really have the urge to actively pursue. I' m sure if I had already had sex it would be much harder to keep myself from doing it again.
