I have wanted MGS4 and Final fantasy for the ps3 a while back since they are both my favourite game series, but I kept thinking about price! And do I really need another console? Then after seeing lost odyssey in motion I just said to myself, MGS4 and Final Fantasy don' t matter anymore! I' m happy to be a 360 owner!!!

I' m afraid Majik' s right. The only reason why Sony dipped the price in Japan is because it' s a very price sensitive market. A lot of retailers were extremely unhappy with the price point of both SKU' s, and with the risk of the 360 seeming like better value, they had to cut their losses and submit to the pressure.

This is probably the last thing Sony wanted to do. They' re already hemorrhaging money left, right and center. They' re literally losing hundreds of dollars per console already so this latest price cut is like getting a kick in the balls when they' re already down.
