I just thought i' d do a thread for these such questions where you wonder, ' Am I the only one thinking this' , casically because I wonder one myself. However feel free to add your own.

So without further delay.

Am I the only one who Doesn' t like analog triggers on controllers.

I still play driving games with D-Pad, and prefer shoulder buttons (but currently prefer racing games with the PS config of X (go) Square (brake). So yeah, not a fan of triggers here... even for shooters I don' t find they make the game any better or immersive....

I hated it at first but eventually got used to controlling like that.

It doesn' t mean anything, just sounds cool. I think I remember that being said in an interview Kikizo had.

No, because when it comes down to it, the specs mean very little in the overall difference between consoles - PS2 v xbox is a great example.

Well the racers i like are such as burnout 2... I like flatout speed racing, not simulation, the arcade style. And in such games i' ve never found it useful to be able to limit the pressure on the gas. I' ve got by with D-pads for years, and triggers never sat well with me.

If you prefer arcade style racing, it doesn' t really matter what you use to control the game. As long as you' re going forward it' s fine.

But for games like PGR3 where powersliding/kudos requires finer control, analog is simply the only way to go.

Am I the only one that is losing faith in the entire videogame industry. I mean I just feel like I' ve seen everything and played it to death. This industry is following the same pattern and making the same slightly better games. I dump so much money in this stuff, I think I need a new hobby to distract myself.

Well no offense to all the majic fans but I don' t understand how majik ran or made the forums run better.....

No-one is saying Majik ran the forums, or made them better, but it is his
attitude that kept most idiots in check; I can acknowledge that.

Out of most of us there are at least 3 people that would generally give a thrashing
