From Software have announced that the 360 version of AC4 has been cancelled due to a " New contract with Sony making the game a PS3 exclusive."

It should be noted that Sony are producing the AC animated movie too.

I guess that after the 360 audience failed to respond to the pathetic Chromehounds (developed by the same studio and published by SEGA) they don' t think AC4 would sell.

The thing is, i was really looking forward to AC4, even after being disappointed by Chromehounds. I can obviously play it on PS3 (which i will now have to) but i was rather loking forward to playing it with Microsoft' s pad.

But previous AC games sucked ass, i don' t consider it much of a loss at all for the 360.

developers are, they know Sony fans will buy this kind of thing... The

The original Playstation games (there were 3 i think) kicked ass and then the first 2 Playstation 2 games were great. Then it went downhill for like 4 games. I hope 4 will take the series back to it' s roots.

Lol ... hahaha I can' t believe how tooth and nails this console wars thing is getting. I hate mecha games thats why I never got chromehounds however apparently they' re really popular in japan. Funny though ' ' exclusive contract' ' eh? ...things are gonna get nasty I think. Now I would definately be very surprised if dmc went 360.

Neither do I but the thing is I expected if sony is bothered by the 360' s library they would need to hit harder than taking away armoured core. So far to me the main strike they made against the 360 was the exclusivity of vf5 and at the time assassins creed.

I think you' re missing my point...i' m well aware microsoft has taken but i' m implying if sony wants to make a dent they need to make better descions when it comes to games...then again considering they' ve been spending more time sorting after blu-ray movies for the end of the year why am I surprised about armoured core.

Asia market wants it,SONY care only about it,thus they pay for it.

Ok slightly off topic now for some reason I still have gold membership on my xbl account and as far as I can remember I upgraded about a month or so after e3 and it was the same time I got feeding frenzy...and i was gonna renew it but somehow it still has me down as gold still(even though to be honest I don' t really play much on live).

Sorry, but a controller which hurts your hands after any amount of play is definitely not the best controller ever. Sad though about armored core. I guess 360 gamers will now have to contend with only being able to play Dead Rising, PGR3, Gears of War, Unreal tournament 3, Lost Planet, Mass Effect, Resident Evil 5,Assassin' s Creed, etc... during their " Armored Core" less hours. What a loss.

The Saturn has the best d-pad. 360 has the best analog controller. The PS2 pad is horrible!
