Microsoft paid Gears of War' s development costs. Epic didn' t have to spend a penny more than it cost them to develop the engine which they' ve been licensing to company after company. Microsoft have a multi-game deal with Epic in which Epic will see lump sums on a per game basis as well as a comfortable percentage-of-profits made deal.

That is all public knowledge. It' s not something that has been secret until just now, ...Microsoft paid for Gear of War and everybody knows about it.

UT2007 will be exclusive to PS3, or at least that' s how it stands right now. Unreal Championship/2 were exclusive to Xbox. What' s changed exactly?!

Because the 360 handles it well, where as it would require a PC that is a beast to run. And yes, MS gave them cash for a game, whats the deal? With the new " Games For Windows" initiative, we' ll start to see MS a lot more in PC gaming, and I for one am glad that they are trying to turn the PC into a simple and viable platform to develope for and much easier to use. Are you going to be mad when PC devs start praising the PC LIVE functionality?

He said the 360 is the superior console. He' s entitled to his opinion, and being that he developes for both systems(and PC) he' s allowed his opinion. Does getting paid by MS make the console better? I doubt it. Does ease to program for and high-end hardware at an affordable price make it better in his opinion? Probably.

At least SCE published games wont go anywhere outside PlayStation consoles, in the other hand you can bet your dumb-ass that games like Halo 3, GoW, Mass Effect and such will come sooner or later to the PC[:' (]

BTW, there are also some thirt party titles like Tekken, DMC, MGS4 that wont be ported either.

sure but it does a hole lot more stuff and if by some weird bizzare reason u happend to already have a good PC then the game costs from 10-20 bucks less
