I was just wondering whats everybodys music taste around this place?

I' m a heavy metal kind of guy, but I also like my softer metal too. Though my favourite band are System of a Down without a doubt. Iron Maiden and Korn make a close second and third in my list but theres many more different sounding bands I like. Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Incubus, Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, Cave In, Finch, My Chemical Romance, Pitchshifter, One Minute Silence, Killing Joke, Auf der Maur, The Distillers, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs...

...you probably get my drift. There' s a load more I could mention but thats the main few I really like at the moment.

I' m mostly into videogame soundtracks. But if it' s good, I' ll listen to it and like it no matter what it is.

Some of my faves right now are:

Street Fighter Tribute Album
Artits such as Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger/Cross/Xenogears/Saga), Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle 1 and 2/Revenge of Shinobi/ActRaiser/Y' s Book 1 and 2), Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (the Daytona guy) and others arrange classic Street Fighter 2 tunes.

Sega Rocks 1 and 2
Awesome classic Sega tunes.

F-Zero GX/AX OST (Original Sound Track)
82 tracks from the game, and it STILL doesn' t have every single song!

there are others as well. Those are just some highlights.

Ahhh, some slightly more interesting answeres than I expected. Where' d you get the game sound trackes from...online? If I gave it some thought I' m sure I could think of a few game soundtracks I' d like to own. They aren' t exactly things you see in music shops here in the UK though.

Welcome, to 2004. I love the 80' s as well. But I like more than just the glamour rock (guys wearing makeup) bands and the hair bands. Though I admit I was quite the Motley Crüe freak in the day. Twisted Sister had a few great songs that were all popular, plus " Burn in Hell" which I don' t know if that one became popular or not.

311
Incubus
Sublime
Red Hot Chili Peppers
I Mother Earth
Nirvana
Audioslave

That list is probably good enough to give you an idea of what I like.
