surely as it appears on the PC, it already isn't exclusive to the 360? Maybe there'll be a wii version....

If a game is published by Microsoft they usually write a clause into the contract that allows for a games for Windows version. That being said, for EA to release the first game on PS3 would mean having to pay a hefty penalty for breaking the original agreement.

this reminds me that i must play this game, i got to the bit were you become a specture and found the game somewhat boring and clumsy with bad combat. I guess i should give it a second chance..

Good to hear its coming to ps3.

They'd be fined for breaking contract on the original, yes, but (correct me if I'm wrong Nitro) I was under the impression Microsoft had only secured rights, and thereby exclusivity for only the first Mass Effect game.

Financially it would make sense, at least to me. Whatever the fine is, it can't be more than they will recover in profits from launching the complete franchise on a secondary platform.

Well, considering EA has it now, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a DS/PSP/GBA/GBC/DC release as well.

Don't forget the Magnavox Odyssey.

I think they're farming out that version though. It probably won't compare to the others.

Considering that I don't have a 360 anymore, this would be nice.

The PC version is great.  I have both the 360 version and PC version and the PC version controls much better.  This is coming from a guy who normally prefers using a controller.  Then of course it's sharper and has higher res textures and can run more smoothly if your pc can handle it.

I think they need to incorporate some form of online play for the next version(s) to make it a bigger success, like Silent said it does get a bit boring after a while, I have put it and played it then left for a few weeks months now.

Its a rumor, not fact. Either way the versions will be limited. Because of the 360 they wont be able to use Blu-Ray, and because of the PS3 they wont be able to use the same rendering and flexible memory.
