Looks alright. That time machine thing looks like a more functional version of system restore. I' m pretty sure that spaces thing was already in Tiger. Or at least something extremely similar. You just had to enable in with some tweaking first and it wasn' t as big on the eye candy. I remember using it. managing networks with PC´s and servers, these installations dont work well with mac, as they use AppleTalk What are you talking about? Mac' s have had the TCP/IP protocol stack for a while now. They' re not that far back in the past.

It looks cool but I' ll stick with windows. Two of my roomates have G5s (decked out) and while they are awesome I still prefer using Windows and my Alienware.

What are you talking about? Mac' s have had the TCP/IP protocol stack for a while now. They' re not that far back in the past. i know they have that! But there still widespread issues in having a Mac in a domain with windows machines, its simply not worth the effort!

does this mean nothing gets deleted? Great idea, but there are some things that have passed through my accursed box, that I never want to see again. Plus, some things that would make more than a few people angry.

i know they have that! But there still widespread issues in having a Mac in a domain with windows machines, its simply not worth the effort! There are no issues. I have Macs and PCs talking to each other without any problems here. I think the real problem is the IT techs are more educated on PCs and probably don' t understand how Macs work. They expect the networking to be radically different and perhaps complicated. If your PCs are current, and your Macs are even just somewhat current, there are no issues.

Joe' s right. We have about 10 Macs running Tiger running perfectly with the rest of our 100 odd PC' s (at work). Heck, they' re probably the one thing that I' ve had to troubleshoot the least.

LOL who the fuck buys alienwares? I have to hand it to alienware though, I wish I could start a business taking advantage of clueless people like they do, it' s genius, and so is apple, macs aren' t worth their price.

Why is this mac stuff in the videogames section? Because Macs are the best game-playing computers!!!!! Oh wait.... I wish I could start a business taking advantage of clueless people like they do, it' s genius, and so is apple, macs aren' t worth their price. I want to start a business by taking advantage of clueless people as well. I will sell these complete morons an operating system, but I' ll have a Home edition, a Professional edition, a Server edition, a Media edition and a whole bunch of other editions so people get confused and spend too much because they need a small little feature only included in the expensive editions.
