your 1000$ cpu will cost 500 after two months so it is pretty stupid (especially when it has 20% better performance)

I' d rather get a quad setting with 2x 500$ CPU for that price.

Nah the price doesn' t go down that fast, I' ve had it more than 2 months and its still the same price, after a year maybe.

Well if you' ve had it for more than 2 months you must have an X2. My cpu is faster than yours and only costed 1/3 the price.

Nope. Your CPU is midrange trash.

Sorry.

lawl, you bought yours two months ago and it isn' t even close to top of the line anymore. Really funny that my proc costed $650 less and gets 30 more fps in COD2. It also uses way less power. I guess that wouldn' t matter too you since you bought a 1000 watt $500 PSU and your mom pays for your electricity.

Those benchmarks are meaningless, and my CPU scored higher than yours anyhow.

1024x768 settings with no effects on... LOL @ your gay benchmarks.

I don' t care if your PC is better than mine or anybody elses, it probably is. The thing is that you pay more than necessary. Your PC is good, but you won' t need a PC that good until next year. So why not wait until then and upgrade parts for less money than what it costs now?
As I said before, a $1500 PC does the job so why get a $3000 PC?

well if it' s quad 64bit Mac Pro with new intel chips (new powerMac) with 30" apple screen ...I wouldn' t mind.

I' d rather get all 3 gaming systems and a nice wall (native 720p) projector for this budget though

Evil you obviously don' t know anything about PC' s if you think 1024x786 isn' t a good test. They were testing the processors not the graphics cards so they set it to a low resolution so the GPU wouldn' t be the limiting factor.

You obviously don' t know much at all about hardware. And it is really funny to see your obvious denial you made a horrible purchase.
You spent $1000 on a processor that wasn' t even the fastest for 2 months and now there are $318 processors that outperform it.

I would actually feel sorry for you if you didn' t proclaim everyone else as jealous idiots.

That' s exactly why it' s an irrelevant test.

Again, my CPU is still faster than yours - so yes you are jealouse, not only that, you are delusional and claiming I own an x2 or whatever.

Like I said, get over it.

It' s really simple, your PC running games like Oblivion at my setting wouldn' t even produce 10fps, thats why mine is ultimately superior, I can play games at settings that are unplayable on your system - it' s not rocket science, fairly simple to understand concept really.

I' m going to step into your shoes to demonstrate your illogicality:

OMGZ you own a pentium 2 200mhz hahahaha i feel sorry for you.

Randomly making stuff up doesn' t work kiddo. Sorry.

You claim you have owned your CPU for over 2 months and you claim that it costed $999.99. Core 2 Duo came out July 29th. You claim you don' t have an X2 so you either have an FX-62 or even more ridiculously stupid a Pentium EE.

Either way you have a cpu that isn' t near the fastest, which you claim it is, mine costed 1/3 the price and is faster.

No wait... you are right... tom' s hardware, HardOC, every other hardware site and magazine, every benchmark, and every one else is wrong. Your saying it is faster as the only evidence proves your cpu is faster and you aren' t a complete idiot for spending $700 more for something inferior.

*cough*denial like I said earlier*cough*

You do know people can get CPUs before they hit the market? Specially when I *work* for Intel.

LOL @ this locopuyo moron.

I didn' t pay a cent for my CPU, so there goes your whole pathetic argument. My PC is better, get over it.

Now go play on your midrange trash CPU and 4:3 low res LCD monitor, lol.

You guys are funny... arguing about PC specs when you should instead be arguing about Genesis vs SNES.

Haha you work for intel.... that is funny.

They made you pay full price huh? That sucks must not be that great of an employer huh?

Don' t worry, I won' t tell your mommy about the extra $700 you would have made her pay on your fictional computer.

So how is the X2000 XTX you got from your ATI job? DX10 must be pretty nice huh? It must be wierd working for two competing companies now that AMD bought ATI.

that' s what' s funny about PC gamers - they just argue about their stupid specs while there aren' t more than 5 worth playing games a year :)

Actually no I got it for free, they give away free stuff every year, last year I got a pretty good HP PC for my brother w/ monitor and all, widescreen of course, lol @ your 4:3 LCD.

And I have a Geforce, ATI cards are not that hot this gen, but yeah, my PC is better, get over it lol.

This is getting old.... It is obvious you are lying. 12 year olds don' t work for Intel and you won' t even give us your specs.
