The Halo universe...when the construction of those halo-rings were taking place...

From what I understand of the story(from the games only), the Flood were quite rampant at that time!

The Dead or Alive universe, if all the girls looked like that and espicaly with that great [ahem] physics engine, i dont think i' ll ever leave!

I' d go with Hyrule from the Legend of Zelda series. It' s got that fantasy feel to it, and there' s so much to explore.
