i cant wait for MGS 4,this game looks great and i cant wait for the cool cutscenes and the story)the new killzone, the first one impressed me,and resident evil 5,after playing RE4 i couldnt stop thinking about the next one.these are my most wanted ps3 games so far.

MGS4, Resident Evil 5 and Final Fantasy 13 are the games I' m currently most interested in.

MGS4. Killzone sucked on the PS2 so I have no hopes for that, especially when they tried to play off CG cut scenes as gameplay. Umm... actually that' s all I can think of. I would say RE5 but that' s coming to the 360 so I' ll get it on that.Since I' ll save like $20.

I feel same way,but i want FF13 too.

Where' d you get your info that PS3 games will be 20 bucks more Rampage?? I haven' t heard anything along those lines, or are you assuming because they' re using the BlueRay format they' ll be more? Link to a story would be cool, but if you' re like me you probably forgot where the hell you read it.

Sorry, back to what I' m waiting for. Hmmm, Gradius would definetly be near the top of the list, but the game I am most waiting for is the as of yet un-announced chronocross sequel secretly in dev by SquareEnix!!!!!!!

Thanks for the link. I went and read the article, and while it does mention the 20 dollar jump, at the end it makes an important distinction:

On the surface, that makes sense, but Japanese pricing has always been traditionally higher than in other parts of the world. The typical PlayStation 2 game in Japan already runs you almost $70, which would certainly mean next-generation is a step up, but nothing shockingly so.

So if the article is saying next gen games 70-80, some fool just did the math without looking at current pricing trends in Japan. It does indicate a price jump of perhaps 10 bucks on the high end games, but I think we may see that across all consoles anyways. Who knows though, Sony seems to be so braindead when it comes to stating prices lately they may decide we should all just eat only 2 meals a day instead of 3 and they can increase prices to 110 bucks a game.

At this point a single empty blue ray disc,and not a stack cost 60 dollar...
But ofc the price will get lesser when they start to massproduce and get more effective and more into blu-ray.

the disc doesn' t cost 60 bucks to sony, that' s just what consumers have to pay cause they arent' mass produced. Sony will likely make their own, so the only cost to them will basically be the plastic. They have the tech to make them already, so the research is done. I don' t think the actual cost of the media will be much of an issue if sony makes them themselves. If I' m wrong and they outsource then they' ll be paying a middle man, but I can' t imagine they' ll do that since they' re the major backer of this media format.
