NeoGAF has gone the way of all forums of a certain age and capacity - it's full of self-satisfied veteran dipshits who pat themselves on the back relentlessly via the joyous mediums of the Esoteric In-Joke and Custom GIF. LULZ.

It's clearly been dead BECAUSE you were gone.

Wow! Things have been that rough. huh.
It's kind of a shame to see a good forum (for its time )suddenly loose all flavor and wither away.
The website still has current reviews, previews and interviews  for the gaming community.
If one wants the site to be successful maybe advertisment, link with other sites, seems everyone is on those "social networks"
See you around Joe in a couple of weeks.

I'm still here.  I have a computer dedicated to the forums that is programmed to auto-refresh.  It's just a matter of me walking by and noticing.  It's right next to my shrine of Evil Man so obviously I walk by a lot.

Speaking of "social networking" sites.  Does anyone here use them?

I have facebook(I know its lame, but everyone's doing it) if you search for Torr44 you should be able to find me.

You're using Facebook wrong.  Facebook is about the real you, not the forum-nickname you.

I allways found the website and content great, the comunity here weren't as great tough.

- The main problem about the forum wich made me stop posting here, were that there were no moderation at all.

I felt that whenever I wanted to discuss something here, everyone else wanted to be hobby-teachers discussing the grammars, or speaking bad about contributors in the topic, rather than discussing the topics at hand.
That's why I stopped visiting these forums, and to some extent stopped coming as often to the website. :-/

It wouldn't have to be super-strict moderation either, just a moderator who could temporary ban people for 1, 3, 7 days, depending how out of order they behaved, then it would be more likely that people would moderate themselves.

As for how you could improve the website and forum, without having to switch out the forum.
How about making a sub-forum called 'article discussion', and at the end of each new article, just put a link to the thread were we could discuss each article.

Other than that, I don't know. :-/

Are you kidding? It's the complete lack of moderation that made this place special, if it weren't for that it would have been another run of the mill generic boring forum.

Though maybe it did make new people less likely to join/post, but it was worth it.

Probably not considered a true bump since it was still near or at the top of the front page.

Why is there no way to simultaneously post here and on Twitter? The future is now. And by "future" I mean 2011.

Oddly enough, when I checked the social media options on facebook and twitter, Kikizo Forum update is not on the list!. It's prop a bug. I'll wait for the update.
