No he wont, his PC is overkill for this game, you can get a PC that crushes Xbox360' s performance for under $1000

Look at the Stranglehold minimum specs and repeat that:

http://forums.midway.com/all_things_stranglehold/b10788/27264791/p1/?14

The first game to NEED a dual core processor btw.

strangehold requirement according to the forum you posted the link to:

2GB of ram (if that' s a minimum , then it' s bullshit)

7800/x1300 ==> this seems utterly bullshit, can' t compare 7800 with x1300, this never happens when a developer post the system requirement, the former is a high end and the second is a low end.

15GB on hard drive== this is too much of a space needed.

Dual core == seems reasonable for minimum and may be for recommanded.

anyway i think you should dismiss those specs, they are bullshit.

Yeah well if you look at that thread it seems they are somewhat official. But there also seems to be a lot of discussion concernig those. We' ll have to see.

Cool, I' ll try some of those.

Man, my 7300 is WEAK! It can barely run the Lost World demo at around 640x480 (or so) at 30fps. Somehow I doubt these games use much CPU at all... all that really matters is GPU. Maybe the Geforce 9800 GTX will be good enough to run games at my native resolution of 1680x1050 with all features on super-high maximum quality at 60fps solid? The Lost World demo didn' t even have an option for 1680x1050. That' s an extremely low resolution, one of the smallest monitor sizes you can buy these days. Who would want to play in anything less?

You just give me what you don' t want dude. Just some of that wet imported sh17 that capsized off of Key-West.

$5 to anybody who can tell me what that' s from without Googling.

You guys seriously think 1680x1050 is the extreme? Man, I thought PC gaming was supposed to wipe the floor with console gaming graphic-wise. Guess not. But seriously, it' s one of the smallest resolutions you can buy. I practically got laughed at by Apple for not getting at least the 1920x1200 display which is where their " HD" line starts. I guess PC gaming is destined to live in 1024x768. Wimpy, and not even HD.

Most newer games have options for 1680x1050+

The Lost Planet demo probably didn' t allow you to choose 1680x1050 because your card would break if it tried. Demo' s are usually gimped when it comes to options too.

I' d actually agree with Joe. 1680x1050 is becoming the norm now for monitor sizes. 2560 x 1600 is coming down in price quickly too. Most people I know who own PC gaming rigs are at least 1680x1050.

Yes it is, it' s like onboard, infact I bet there are onboard graphics built in the motherboard that surpass a 7300.

Your GPU is not meant for gaming, it' s meant for surfing the net and word proccessing. A 7600gt is entry level for gaming, a 7300 is a joke.

This is what you want:

You could get the 320mb version but I would get the 640mb if you want to play in resolutions above 1680x1050.

No, I don' t want that. The Geforce 9800 GTX will be much better. Google it.

Well the next thing is always so much better. However I' ve yet to see confirmed info on the 9800gtx, just a lot of BS.

Wohoo! Guess I' ll buy at least one PC game this year.
It feels kinda overkill to have a PC like mine and not play any games on it
