 Crappy,picture,but the Call of Duty dev has asked people to remove the picture from gaming sites that is spreading it but... Here it is. Look at the smoke,looks like " LOST PLANET" to 360,use the same black smoke thing,. Sure the pic is tiny and crappy,but better then nothing... right?  Kikizo member majik is stunned by the picture

There was a video of Call of Duty 3 floating about wasn' t there? It just looked like CoD2 with slightly better textures imo. http://www.gamershell.com/news/30110.aspx Oh it was just the E3 trailer I was thinking of.  But it looked scripted, and vaguely remeniscent of Killzone, heh.

I don' t know, it looks alot better than COD2, but for some reason that background looks pre-rendered the clouds of smoke are too polished and volumetric. Then again, as you stated Lost planet used the same cloud textures (though they were alot heavier)

I don' t think it' s pre-rendered. It' s the smoke and lighting that creates a feeling that it' s pre-rendered.

Yeah it is the smoke that creates the illusion cos iv' e been looking at it and thinking it looks too good to be in game but it looks good.

I actually seen as good smoke in LOST PLANET demo.
Its basically the smoke we see from cod2,but instead of being grey its black and then look much better.

Hmm, if you pretend the smoke isn' t there or if you cover it with something then the picture looks like a normal next-gen in-game screenshot.
