As far as Blu-ray, I' ve already got Casino Royale, Transporter 2, Kingdom of Heaven, Rocky Balboa and Monster House. The last three I haven' t seen. These aren' t my first choices for Blu-ray titles, but there was a really good sale over at DeepDiscount.com and these were the best deals. I can' t wait for the re-release of The Fifth Element!!

Sigma over Resistance, Motorstorm over RR7. Don' t bother buying any of those movies.

RR is trash, get Motorstorm without question. Ridge racer screams PS1, the gameplay is archaic and stupid. LOL, don' t buy that with your PS3. As for Resistance or Sigma, I' d probably pick neither. If I bought a PS3 todday I' d only buy Motorstorm, Flow and a bunch of BluRay movies, but movies that I like, I wouldn' t buy mediocrity just because it' s on sale.

I' ve actually decided to support Blu-ray over HD-DVD. I' m just waiting for the technology to develop so I can buy a high quality Blu-Ray rom drive for my PC.

I would buy a headset for online play as well as a remote for movies, the controller works but I' d rather have a real remote.

Definitely covered there. Unfortunately, I' ll have to hook it up to my 34" Sony. I' m in the process of replacing my projector, and this guy who said he' d hook me up with a good price is taking FOREVER (killing me, Smalls!).

I love the Ridge Racer series, but 7 is absolute garbage. There' s poor-aliasing, and then there' s Ridge Racer 7. It' s really really ugly.

I done went and ordered Resistance. I actually ordered it the same day I made this post, so that tells you something about my patience.

Of course NG: Sigma was pre-ordered as well. I was thinking of getting Virtua Fighter, but I want to get it for the 360 (I read a review somewhere, and it said that there were plenty of improvements in the Xbox version, so...). Not a big fan of tennis.

Oh, and God of War II has been in my PS2 for the past couple of months! Granted, I' ve only put in about 8 hours or so, but you' re right; it' s an awesome game! Of course I loved the first one, so it was expected that the second would occupy a LOT of my time.

I would like to say that my PS3 dreams have been put on hold. The guy that was going to give me a brand new one for $450 said he wanted to charge more because a lot of people wanted them. I told him to kiss my ass, and I would never do any business with him! So now I' m going to order one off of Amazon (right after I order my new projector, this Tuesday).

Oh yeah, The Darkness is gettin' purchased ASAP! Starbreeze Studios? Hellz yeah!! I loved Chronicles of Riddick. Hell, I' m still upset that it' s not backward compatible!

I trust Starbreeze, but " The Darkness" always felt a little bit off to me. Can' t really explain it.

I read a review of the Darkness in a GI and it seemed like if you were a sociopath and or wanted to be one then this game will make perfect sense to you. Now other than that the graphics looked nice but the interface looked really strange. Overall it doesn' t look like my kinda game.

I' ve read that Resistance is good fun online. GamesTM gave its multiplayer 4 stars I think (but for the actual single player mode I believe they gave a 6/10). There aren' t that many great games out for the console at the moment anyway, in my opinion.

Any score it got that wasn' t 3/10 means that the reviewer was suffering from launch title madness. It happens with every console launch. Look at Perfect Dark Zero for Christs sake! Even Kikizo rated PDZ highly. Madness i tell you!

But seriously, the character models are superb ,there' s some cool architecture and there' s zero slowdown. When it comes to the single player, there' s no sense of progression, no real plot, lame environments, lame " we tried to hard to make them different" weapons, retarded N64 quality textures, awful explosions, pathetic cutscenes and disgusting level design.

The online doesn' t fare much better. It could have been fun but they simply threw the shit weapons into some shit levels with shit game modes and 40 players and hoped for the best.

If somebody has a PS3 and wants to play online then MotorStorm, Rainbow Six and Call of Duty 3 are you best bets. The Warhawk beta owned and i hope to get into the next round too as it' s easily the most fun i' ve had with the machine since launch.

Everything will change when GRAW 2 is released though. It has a gazillion modes, tons of maps and a fuckload of badass weapons. Silent and I are gonna own.

I' m sure there are probably other people that think differently. I used to not think Motorstorm was that great to be honest.

But what do I know, eh? Apparently my views don' t count.

From what I' ve played, Resistence is a very average FPS. Its only saving grace is its online play which I found pretty fun but nothing amazing.

I played it yesterday and it was good fun. I could see myself playing the game quite alot if I had a PS3. The flying is great and easy to control (thats WITHOUT the motion sensing turned on).
