Using the 360 DVD remote to change music during a game
-

I found this out while playing PGR3 today and being grumpy at the fact there was no quick way to change streaming music. In a " I wonder if this will work" moment, I grabbed my DVD remote and hit the Next button. Surprisingly it does work flawlessly. You can go Forward, Back, Play, Pause, and Stop. Though I do wish there was a Repeat option as well. Okay, this is nothing revolutionary, and probably something listed countless times in the manual, but who uses manuals nowadays anyway? Hopefully this information is in some way useful to you. P.S. And if you' re going to change the music during a game..... you might want to wait until you have a free moment to do so.

Thats cool and handy. Thing I wanna check out later is if its possible to use any universal remote for the Xbox360. I was able to do it with the original Xbox by using the code search option while programming the remote. And for those who didnt know that either well there you go. Just turn on a dvd and stop it until the green screen comes on, then program the remote using the code search for DVD players. Once the on screen task bar (bar that allows you to select play stop zoom etc) pops up, set in the code and yer done. The DVD button on your remote now controls basic functions for the xbox dvd. Now to test it out on the 360.
