If you could grant any developer 2.5 years and 30 million to develop any game your choice, who would you pick and what is the game. It could be an original idea, or a sequal.

I would get Sierra to make a Aliens Vs. Predator 3 for ps3/360 and pc. I love the Aliens vs. Predator mythology and I drooled when the first two games were on pc when I didn' t have a decent computer to play them.

It would have no single player, purely an online game.
Ofcourse it would have advanced graphics and physics of a quality matching F.E.A.R. I would have them make it cross platform, only with a twist. Each platform version would support one race; ps3=Aliens, 360=Predators PC=humans. Naturally each race would fight against the others but never themselves.

So imagine 48 player, three or two team death matches with each race/team having completely different controls/abilities.

Hmm...toughie. I have about 3 main game ideas, 2 RPGs and a Fighting game. I' ll start off with the fighting game cos if I wrote all of them today, it would be one phreaking long post

---------------------------------------

You know the Bloody Roar/Beastorizer series? It' s a fighting game where you can transform into half-man/half-beast in the game and it' s really all button-mashing (I don' t think there were even counters or reversals ever in the game )

But anyway, it survived for like, 6 games (BR3 had 3 different versions for the 3 consoles GC, PS2 and Xbox) until BR4 for PS2. No next-gen version has been announced by Konami.

Konami destroyed the game. Sure, it was definitely no fighting game that any self-respecting fighting gamer would exactly call ' technical' . But it was fun as heck to slice and dice people, and it had an X-men rip-off of a storyline! The first two were great, they were under Hudson, then Konami bought over it and had STUPID supernatural thingies inputted, ending up with BR4' s laughable LACK of a storyline ANYWHERE.

Anyway, my idea is to revitalize the series for the next-gen. Basically, since the game is called BLOODY Roar, and has fangs, claws, jaws, wings etc. etc. We should capitalize on those.

Inspired by Fight Night Round 3' s excellent no HP bars and realistic battle injuries style, the next-gen BR would be similar. Also, Tao Feng' s visible and lasting injuries. None of that stupid ' hitting the leg and having the top break off' but the injuries are too remain. A slight first-person view and such.

The REAL fun is when you transform! I want snarling, salivating werebeasts squaring off.

Imagine, one is Yugo the Wolf, the other is Long the Tiger. They' re both transformed. From Long' s viewpoint, you see a clear view of Yugo. He snarls, his wolven lips curl up at the edges, barring blood-red gums and canines. Saliva dribbles, hackles are raised, the tongue flicks back and forth. Suddenly without warning, Long lunges and hits him on the head with a slash of claws.

Yugo rears back, shaking his head in pain, his hand comes out to shield his face as he takes a steps back. He growls in retaliation, and blood is flowing down his scarred face, a fresh gash clear across his forehead.

With a roar, he pounces forward, and in that first-person view you see a clash of gnashing teeth. You respond frantically and the whole ordeal becomes a mass of mincing fur and teeth.

THAT' s a visceral feeling that REALLY fits the name of Bloody Roar! Of course, I want more strategy in there too so that people can' t say it' s just plain button mashing. Which means, a total revamp of the battle system, and yet to not alienate old players and to not present a steep learning curve like Soul Calibur II. Something like Guilty Gear which has easily pulled off yet highly technical gameplay.

Also, a first-person is naturally not very handy, but I love the idea of a first-person cam, so that the full graphic impact of the whole thing hits home.

That' s my first idea for now, more on my two RPG ideas later

hehe, don' t get me started.

I have one epic game idea which is 1 to 5 parts long, 3 action/adventure game
ideas, and a great idea for a MMORPG. I also have one ninja/stealth game idea.

But those are my ideas..

If someone could make me a dream game, it would be a freakin awesome
Naruto game, that felt as if I was playing the actual anime series (up to the fillers
then it would just get boring).

Edit: Also, games with kick ass heroine' s wouldn' t go amiss, most of my
ideas have really well thought out heroine' s. Aside from tomb raider, where
are the other major heroine' s? I wouldn' t want it to be like the exploitation of
the DOA girls (like itagaki I would hate my characters to be in compromising
positions).

I personally prefer playing as a kick-ass heroine because they are more
elegant, and make for more exciting costume design... (not like
bloody boring Yuna)

Anyone else like kick-ass heroine' s a la Xena?

I would have to go for Square-Enix. While I haven' t really played all that many of their large catalogue of games, they are the only current third party team that is working on titles for each current-gen system(excluding the original Xbox, but that is soooo old-skool now!!!!!!!!! lol)- so I' d be able to have many other of my wonderful ideas realised eventually.

I have thought of a game idea for the DS in which you are some random bloke that died a few days ago(and now lives in heaven), but doesn' t know how or why he died. He is then assigned the job of guardian angel and is told that if he wants any recollection of his death then he would have to make sure that nothing happens to the subject. That' s where you come in! After every major deed that you achieve(ie. save the subject from being run over by a vehicle), the protagonist recieves a large bit of their memory.

The clever bit is, some help only requires simple things- such as blowing off the subject' s hat using the system' s microphone and making them chase after it, thus preventing them from being run over!

I have ingeniously named this game... Guardian Angel

It' s not my best idea, but it is definately not my worse.

I' d make a genuinely funny adventure/platformer. Like Whiplash, except not tedious after the first 10 minutes.

Great thread idea.

First I' d like a Ghost in the Shell MMORPG. I' d love to live in that world. So many ways to make your character unique and such an intriguing universe.

Then I' d like to lock Peter Molyneux and Bethesda' s Ovlivion team in a room together, give them all the time and money they need, and nobody comes out until Peter is completely satisfied. I like pleasant suprises.

Are you some kinda porno director? hehe

I' d lock Hideo Kojima and Yu Suzuki in a room, so that they could finish Shenmue
3 and work on Z.O.E 3, bring a bit of Sega flare to it.
