I actually convinced a friend of mine to buy a 360 despite the fact that he' s been a Sony fanboy !
We talked about the next-gen consoles for a while, including Wii, and apparently my information convinced him that the Wii is awesome and that it' s the future of gaming. And now he also thinks that the 360 is the most valuable console right now, even though the PS3 might come out on top in the future. So now he actually bought one along with Gears of war. And that' s thanks to me, which is very surprising seeing as I have come of as anti-360 here.
And on top of that, I just ordered one for myself the on Internet .

But mark my words, when Twisted Metal PS3 is released I' m buying the PS3 even if I have to sell the soon to be mine 360.

Oh damn I was forgeting about Twisted Metal, well that' s it I need a PS3. Twisted Metal Black is one of my favorite games of all time. I' m a sucker for great atmosphere. If they make another one like that I' ll buy a PS3 the day it comes out.

Interesting... It' s not a bad choice at all. I so want both a ps3 and 360, ps3 slightly more, but honestly i' m really gonna have to do some thinking about which i' ll get. While i can afford both, i would rather save. I am thinking ps3 for now and 360 later on when the price drops, but with sony bleeding exclusives and generally not doing such a good job of anything i' m not sure.

For me 360 really begins when alan wake ships, currently anything else is just stocking fillers.

I prefer the Wii because my PC can give me the nice graphics. But then there' s really not many good games for PC IMO.
But the Wii is sold out here and the only games I see as system sellers are Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Galaxy and they' re not out yet anyway.
PS3 has got nothing, now or in the nearest future, that I would consider a system seller. It does have some really interesting games though.
But in the end the 360 was a pretty obvious choice for me.
I like fighting games so when it was announced that Virtua Fighter 5 would hit the 360 I kind of made up my mind to actually order one. Dead or Alive will keep me entertained until then, even though it' s not exactly the best fighter out there.
And I have Tekken Dark Resurrection on my PSP so I won' t be missing that Tekken 5 HD thingy on the PS3 either.
I' m a little worried about the 360 though considering all the problems some of you guys have had.

The wii honestly isn' t in my thoughts, while maybe sometime there will be a game that i want to play right now, nothing has piqued my interests.

360 hw issues, i always used to say if i got one it' d be the newer model with the smaller more efficient chips, hopefully the manufacturing builds will be better. as 360 is quite dodgy.

Yeah i can also see what your saying about ps3 having nothing that sells the system to you. there is little choice out there right now, especially in europe but there are a couple games i want to play.

If i could afford it i' d have every system though.... if only they were all £100 man that' d be a dream.
