Expensive Gamer - Apr 11, 2004 04:34
After just reading about that Unreal Tournament 2004 special DVD pack. It made me wonder - Whats the most expensive game item/s did you purchase (excluding purchase of console)?

I came very close to buying the big-ass Steal Battalion package, but alas the most expensive thign ive gotten would have to be an avg priced $50 game.

Time Crisis 2 with GunCon2. I think it cost me around $100 Canadian.

Excluding consoles? Well, none. I don' t really play PC games.

The most expensive game I' ve ever bought was Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. It was $70, but it was worth it, IMO.

Time crisis 2 with GunCon 2, i think it was 60$ or a little bit more. That game was the best in the arcades though, imo

I spent $75 for Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy X, and Gladius.
Most expensive one time purchase I have made (excluding when buying consoles).
Not a bad deal

Same here...I was not that good at mechassault, and the game is very limited stock in this country, hard to get hold of....

I just realized Gran Turismo 4 might cost me $400.00+... crap! The GT Force Pro is $199.99, the HD-Drive is $129.99 and the game will be $69.99... plus 15% tax! Hopefully the prices for the wheel and the HD-Drive will go down in price before the game is released, I really want to get the most out of that game.

Definetly. Atleast I already have a PS2, a cable internet connection and a network adaptor.

£1000 (around USD$1600) for a PS2, three days before it was released in Japan.

But hey, it was only company money. ;-)

Shenmue JAP DC - a few days before Japanese launch - £100

I think those are comfortably my hw/sw records respectively. ;-)
