Cool - I' d love to check it in my hands - Nintendo often makes extremely comfortable controllers, but this one doesn' t look like it :)

What the hell! They' ve placed the analog sticks like Sony, parallel! Strange move from Nintendo.

You make that sound like it is a BAD idea to have the sticks parallel. It makes dual stick control more intuitive. Still, it is far more unusual coming from Nintendo than anything I' ve seen N do prior (Wii rename, remote and ' chuck). Looks very oldschool, and therefore quite uncomfortable to hold. Hopefully, the back of that controller is a nice, holdable shape.

I would think it is for nostalgic gamers that want a more traditional feel: a one piece controller of yesteryear. It is true though, that such functions are pretty much available with a chuckstick.

For the NES, yes. For the N64... chucky, I mean tricky. GC... the remote gives you the GC/PS3 feel. It is all about the feel. I' d rather see a steering wheel solution with the Wii remote placed in the wheel or the manual stick.
