Ohhh, the Halo 3 faceplate will be going on sale at the end of October! Strange how Gears could be out earlier than the PS3 and the Halo 3 faceplate isn' t being released alongside the game which is supposedly set for March 2007...  I wonder...

I doubt it' s either. A demo wouldn' t fall under the definition of " announcement" unless they were announcing the demo' s release. It' s hardly likely to be about downloadable content as some have speculated because Mark Rein said he didn' t like the idea of " episodic content" ... While i' m not passing on it i doubt it' s the actual release date that' s being announced as they' ve made such a big deal of it being released on " Emergence Day" . I would expect the release date to be announced very close to the day it hits stores so as to have maximum impact. My guess is that they' ll be showcasing some stuff you haven' t seen yet like the squad control mechanism and the inbuilt headset voice command system. Either that or something completely different.

Probably the demo at most. But I agree with that Majik said. Or maybe emergance days really happens?!? A bunch of Locusts Hord alians explode from the ground, right there on stage, during the announcment!

It doesn' t really matter to me since I can' t get a 360 till after the holiday rush. A demo would be nice though.
