Video is a little short (and loops by the look of it) but the quality is good and you get to see the environmental destruction which while probably limited to certain areas definitely shits all over Gears 2' s " you can blow concrete bits off the steel frame" bullshit.

The art direction in Killzone 2 is how i wanted Quake IV to be. It looks incredible.

Comparing its visuals with other PS3 games (or 360' s), it looks as though its running on a totally different Medium. Seems they have really tapped into the Cell Processor, I' m happy.

Dam this is a smooth looking game. Is it me or is the Ai dumb as hell. I pray they have the ai dumbed down on purpose.

I' ve found with a lot of these press demo' s/gameplay vids that are prior to release and not a final build of the game, the AI is dumbed down so that it is more accessible. That way you can see more of the action/explosions without being killed so quickly.

This game along with Little Big Planet, Final Fantasy, Heavy Rain really sold me on wanting to make sure that some time this year I get one. Just really fantastic, and it is starting to be a little more clear that this is going to be foremost a graphical showcase which really does make Killzone 2 one of the nicest looking console games if not the best.

The game looks truly great, i do hope there is more to the AI than was in the videos since thats pretty pathetic.

The environment looks pretty bland and isn' t all that impressive. The guns, depth of field, motion blur, lighting, explosions, and the smoke... omg the smoke... all look fantastic!Hopefully it does turn out good. Still, even seeing this I' m not holding my breath. The gameplay released before the first Killzone came out looked incredible too and we know how that turned out. Still, this looks like the type of FPS I' ve always wanted to play. The art style is really impressive and I love the movement of everything. It feels like you are in a war.

So it is expected to ship in Feb 2009 for Europe.

Technologically it annihilates every other console game and virtually every PC game... save for Crysis, which it beats hands down in terms of art direction.

Killzone 2 is probably my most anticipated console game right now. It has been since we first saw actual gameplay footage. Next week we see Gears 2 singleplayer footage, but something tells me it won' t be anywhere near as impressive as this.

BlimBlim just uploaded the original 720p (cam) footage and the game looks godly.

I was burnt by KZ1 so I remain quietly skeptical until I have the game. KZ1, while looking ace for a PS2 game, really did fail in virtually every other area. Though if you throw enough money at something it usually turns out good.

Like I stated before, Killzone 2 makes me want a PS3 bad. More so than MGS4. The only thing I am worried about is that Killzone 2 is just going to be a tech demo for the PS3.

An empty game that just shows off the technology. Have you guys seen the actual screen shots of the game ( direct from the game, not cam)? It looks a lot better in motion...
