RE: this is How VF5 is gonna own every other Beat-em-up in existence

Virtua Fighter > every other 3D fighting series... King of Fighters > every other 2D fighting series... Whoa stop reading my mind dude. Vf took a step back IMO after losing the more open areas from VF3. That maybe so, but VF5 has taken back far more than VF4 lost even without undulation coming back. For professional and experienced players the uneven surfaces did occasionaly get in the way of the fight, though I thought they were the next step in fighting games. At least in terms of personality VF5 feels more like 2 and 3 in so many ways, and the music has got that VF feel combined with new ground also. It' s gonna be awesome, hell the best game out next year on any console for me. VF6, that' ll have the undulation returning. It' s the only logical step, well combined with a little real-time physiscs also.

The two things I hate most about beat-em ups sometimes, are easy repetitive throws and losing a round through a bitch kick to the foot! Both of which were in that clip. :P That and the juggles in Tekken. Kazuya could uppercut you 4 times before you even had a chance to recover! Tekken 5 had to be my favourite beat-em up though. VF series not so much, sry!

ORIGINAL: ginjirou Watching that video makes me realise how much Virtua Fighter sucks! No skill involved at all. I mean, you only have to learn one throw move and do it over and over and over and over again and you win. It' s even easier than button mashing! Um, the guy he was fighting was a noob, actually they were both noobs, I would have raped him in a more spectacular way than just spamming that throw.
