Man this game game has the sickest visuals, I' ve ever seen. I can' t believe how smooth the framerate is with all the detail on screen, and there' s barely any loading at all. After this game splintercell seems really dissapointing. when i called my EB and they said it came in, i couldn' t even concentrate on my work anymore, so i told my boss that people were coming to look at my apartment and even though he was pretty pissed at me I took off to the store. I already got my ass spanked on live like 5 times, I suck at these types of game, but this game is extremely polished.

Some of the videos I' ve seen showed the action alternating from a first-person view mode to a third-person view. So do we have the option to toggle between the two perspectives? If it' s only first-person then I' ll avoid the game like the plague, but if there' s an option to switch to a third-person view mode then I might just check it out!

when you hit the left trigger, it zooms into a close over the shoulder view, it feels really nice, and you could pull the trigger and just pop out of cover to take shots and let go to go back under cover. I must say I' m really impressed by how intuitive the controlls are, you look badass moving from cover to cover.

It' s like the 360 version of GRAW. It' s fully 3rd person with an over the shoulder " close aim" like in RE4. There' s no 1st person mode so you' re all good.

Always is! :) Also watching a ton of Gameplay videos seems to help.

Dammit i wanna play it, and i havent even completed splinter cell yet!

I completed SPlinter Cell on HARD... I got the ' Professional Ninja'
achievement.

Now I am gonna play it again, and make all the BAD decisions, i' m gonna be
a dirty double agent..

Which means that I am not gonna wash my hands, clean my arse, and piss with
the toilet seat down.

That' s how bad I plan on being..

On Gears of War: I have watched quite a lot of all the videos, I love the part with
the Berserker in it, that thing looks crazy as a motherf*cker, although I am
pretty sure it looked bigger in some of the prelim trailers.

The graphics are amazing, albeit very dank and dark.

It is a very grim game, but shows the best that Unreal Engine 3 has to offer period.

I now have high hopes for Lost Odyssey looking as good or possibly even better
than Gears of War.

Correct me if I am wrong, but did Splinter Cell DA use the Unreal Engine 2????

I got it today...awesome game, holding out on Co-op until my buddy can get his copy...but I' ve been playing Multiplayer up the ying yang. Awesome game.

This is the First 360 game, I want to get. And I will.

I have my copy, its as good as it looks. I don' t have to say much as I can' t find any flaws from the short time I spend with it.

Well, I bought it, but I' m not playing it yet.

I' m holding off until I get some work done. Shouldn' t take more than an hour, so soon I' ll join a friend of mine and we' re gonna do some co-op over Live.

BTW:

Best Buy had a PS3 set up. It had two playable demos. It had NBA Live 07 and Motorstorm. NBA Live looked sweet, and handled very well. I' m not really into sports games too much, any more, but it was nice.

The draw distances were impressive, and the far off landscapes looked great, but the up close stuff (your car, and anything within about 70 feet in game space) looked shitty. Well, I guess that' s kinda harsh, but the graphics were jaggalicious, and the textures were weak.

They also had a Wii setup, but it was only displaying some kind of demo movie with some chick talking about how great the system is. They showed a little video of Wario Ware, though, and that looks like fun!

Oh yeah, the PS3 is HUGE! It looked f*ckin' sweet, all black and chrome, but I was surprised at how large it was.
