LOL, all new VGA cables are capable of 1080p. Period. Dont give us anymore shit about " its not certified" .

Xbox 360 VGA cables aren' t new.

Also, on page 4 of the operating manual, safety tip #11 reads...

" Only use attachments and accessories recommended by the manufacturer" .

The Xbox 360 is not an accessory recommended by the manufacturer.

This guy has to read manuals to operate a TV, lmao. That explains how clueless he is.

Your article says the TV can display at 1080p with the exact same type of VGA Cable X360 has, it supports X360 fully, get over it.

...well... ....to be fair, i guess this whole Emo thing is a reaction to a lot of the negative propaganda various members at kikizo like to post about Sony....

....that does not justify behaving like an obnoxious moron of course, but i see the reasoning......

...if you keep calling someone names, they are likely to start calling you names back.....

...don' t you think?...

Oh no, someone that lives far away from me might call me a bad name on the internet What am i ever to do?

Yup, because Wii can output 480p, the TV' s internal scaler does a great job of upscaling to 1080p. No deinterlacing is required.

You sure know nothing about HDTVs.

Even 480i upscaled and deinterlaced to 1080p looks amazing on the Bravia XBR 2/3 series.

Says the person who does not know how to use proper punctuation.

Don' t worry, perhaps one day you will be able to afford a 1080p HDTV and you can join the rest of us over at www.avsforum.com

Joe: Because the Nintendo Wii can already output 480p, the Television doesn' t have to deinterlace the video signal when it upscales it as 1080p. If the Wii was only capable of 480i, it would have to deinterlace it, as well as upscale.

What this means is the TV doesn' t have to do as much processing when displaying the image. Not only does this result in a better image displayed, but it also results in less video processing lag.
