And I remember this article where one developer said it' s impossible to achieve smooth framerate in detailed 3D next gen game - I' m pretty sure he' s a lame fuckin dev and didn' t even try hard enough.

I myself am impressed that more games will be in 1080p.

Whether the developer simply couldn' t achieve it or not, CAPCOM said very recently that 1080p @ 60fps wasgoing to be very difficult to achieve in " next-gen" games, and by that they mean what we mean by " next-gen" , ...games like Lost Planet.

Unfortunately the loss will always be there in 1080p.It' s either loosing fps and getting games in 30 instead of 60 , loosing geometrical and texture detail or both.

The only thing we can hope for are 1080p games that are so amazing that you don' t feel like they lack anything ,but 360 games like Gears of War will keep reminding you how much detail is sacrificed.
