Why do you care about the design? Do you want it to look pleasant when you thrust it in & out of your anus?

I guess noone told you that you can actually play games on them...

I want my system to look good, that' s for sure , but I wouldn' t choose one over the other by it' s looks alone.

Ps3 looks nice, all the consoles do. Size isnt a problem, I am more worried about the noise.

And about the design- the 360 doesnt make much sense then,why do you have chrome on your discplayer while the rest around it is white?
It look stupid,if you ofc dont get the chrome faceplate.

However the 360 looks good still,espeically if its standing up.

The 360 isn' t about the X as the Xbox was. Now it' s all about the 360 degrees and you see that everywhere. The ring of light. The Xbox guide button and the power button. Very effective. Much cooler than an X. You don' t even call it the Xbox360. It' s just 360. That' s why the 360 is superior to the Xbox.

I read, somewhere (forgive the lack of links but i can' t remember where it was), that the PS3 would run as ' loud' as the PStwo.

I don' t mean to come across as a cell hater or anything. I recognise that it does things brilliantly (game engine, video encoding etc.) but there' s also things it does poorly (single thread anything, has a hard time running AI code).

All they hear is this " Cell is the base for all next generation tech" stuff that keeps coming from sony. so they don' t look at it objectively. It' s the same with blu-ray, as a generality, most people know little about the blu-ray drive in the PS3 or what advantages it has. So the only line of " credible" information they can get is straight from the sony headmen at conferences. I' m not saying 360/Wii don' t have their disadvantages, I' d be lying if I did, I just wish people would look at things with a more objective mindset.

I actually did a couple with the powerpuff theme but.....I havent wired up my scanner yet....and i' m lazy...but yeah ne one steals it I put you in charge mass.

I did a size comparison a while back using the officially released dimensions and i bindled ion all of the current gen consoles too (including the slimline PS2) to drive the point home for those that hadn' t seen a 360 upclose. I made a point about the PS3 being the largest console, even larger than the original Xbox, but i think the photo' s from this article do a much better job of showing just how big the unit is.

Sony NEED to shrink the beast as quickly as possible. Xbox was slated by everybody for being so " numb" and " bulky" and sure PS3' s curved shiny exterior helps but nobody wants something huge, hot and noisy in their livingroom/bedroom/whatever.

No, you' re wrong. The 360 is inhaled and the PS3 is exhaled so that you can place them on top of each other as they were one.

I' d like to know if this is a replica of the bastard child or the real PS3. The real PS3 ($600) is bit bigger than the bastard child.

what i find ironic is that last gen. sony said power didnt matter, then they thought the ps3 was better than the 360 so they decided that power did matter. Then they found out PS3 wasnt more powerful, so now they say power doesnt matter, again. also last gen. they said games mattered and they were going to sell the console, But now 360 is getting GTA 4( A sequal to the series that sold the most games on the ps2) so sony is saying it didnt matter last gen. and it wouldnt effect the sells of either console.

But last gen. sony said the xbox wouldnt sell because of its larger size, but now who has the biggest console this gen? besides if size mattered on a consoles wouldnt that mean the gamecube would have sold the most last gen?
