Do you think that the Xbox could handle the same amount of models and polygons thats in N3? There is impressive things hidden in having loads of models on screen!

With regards to bladestorm, i was very disappointed, but koei have done crap all with their ports to 360 either, and they never were great in the gfx department.

Resistance does look hott, but what about Lair? Is that still aimed for launch, I was under the impression it was a launch title at one stage.

I think n3 is still a testing title for the 360 so it still can do better obviously but I still think it has a fun factor about it. To call it and ugly game though is a little far I think.

You really can' t fucking argue against PS3' s graphics when your system is sporting anal leakage type graphics with games like N3. It' s hypocritical.

No i kinda get Evil Man as far as N3 is concerned. I see and understand his point even if i don' t fully agree. N3 and Kameo (in parts) had lots of identical enemies that didn' t put up any kind of fight and were devoid of any real AI.

It' s initially impressive but gets old quickly and as satisfying as N3 is it' s not that technically impressive. The main characters are VERY detailed and the enemies are lower poly with lower res texturing. N3 is the nicest looking and playing game of it' s type but it' s not up there graphically with GRAW. The cutscenes are but not the gameplay. Still, it DOES have style and it is awesome to play so that counts in it' s favour.

I was suprised he thought Dead Rising' s graphics were " meh" though, as not only aare the zombies highly detailed but they all look different (not completely and there are identical models placed throughout the map, but you hardly notice). There' s NO aliasing whatsoever and the colour palette is awesome. The water and glass look great and the textures are detailed (not seriously detailed normal mapping but this IS a Japanese game and so that' s to be expected) and clean and the sheer amount of detail on screen in impressive.

Sony' s launch games aren' t shaping up to be as impressive as they really should. At least they' ll have a handful of good titles like Warhawk and Resistance.

DR is the best use of the 360 hardware so far.. its the first time ive said:

1) " this is more like it!!!!!!" (at how the game has both ' great details, loads of things going on AND runs at constant 60fps..)

2) " Theres no way my PC could handle this!!"

ps3 launch games look horrible i agree.

No, no, no, ...360 had ugly ass titles at launch too. Gun, Tony Hawks, Quake 4 etc. They were ulgly as hell too, but a years difference and a console that' s supposed to be " more powerful" and these games look worse than anything on 360.

My point is that with Sony saying that games previously anticipated for launch (Heevenly Sword for example) will probably slip into 2007 PS3 is left with the usual multi-platform sports titles, retarded shit like Bladestorm, Gengi II, Fatal Inertia, Untold Legends, Ridge Racer 7, Full Auto 2 etc and 3rd party multi-platform games that' ll be available on 360 like CoD3, Sonic, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Virtua Tennis 3 etc...

...that leaves the only stand out PS3 launch titles being things like MotorStorm, Warhawk, Resistance and the gorgeous looking Lair (if it does make launch)

Sony really needed games like VF5, UT2007, Heavenly Sword and DMC4 for launch. That' d be impressive!

But those 3 games came to other plattforms.
DOA4 was dev with a 360 in mind.

Heck even kameo/Pdz that looks so good was from the start a GC then xbox and then a rushed 360 game.

Motorstorm was beyond horrible at E3. It looked like complete garabge and played even worse. I got hands on with it. They waited until the last day to bring it out which I found funny. Warhawk was nothing impressive and I really disliked the controls. Resistence was no better than Call of Duty 2 in both terms of graphics and playability. It wasn' t bad but it wasn' t outstanding. I didn' t see Lair.
