I cant decide on what my fav game of all time is, but I do love games with a great story, so Mgs is obviosuly one of my favs.
I could easily tell you my most hated games of all time.

1) Adventure: Fable, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda
2) RPG: Phantasy Star, Shining in the Darkness
3) Racing: Mario Kart, Hang On
4) Sports: DOA:XBV, Madden ' 98 (I think), Double Dribble
5) First Person Shooter: Doom II, Halo, Chronicles of Riddick
6) Fighting: Mortal Kombat II, DOA Ultimate, Soul Caliber
7) Other: Actraiser, Kid Icarus, Zillion, Flashback

What we shoulöd do,is create a new thread,and end this every monthly -best game ever...
And have a thread where each member write hios top 5 games of all times.
and the topic creator add up each game that got more votes from each person.
Then later we gonna have our own kikizo member top 5 off all time.

Yeah, Shining in the Darkness is a great game, though I didn' t play it as much as Shining Force. Camelot is a very talented developer, I don' t know why they don' t make more RPGs. Have you played Golden Sun, Chee Saw?

I don' t think it is possible for me to pick a favorite one, Ico ranks up there. But I think impact wise, MGS 3 was the only game to ever cause an emotional response for me. Amazing game.
