I think I read Nintendo and multiplayer in the same sentence above...good stuff that...

Anyways, I' m still picking up the 360 because of it' s multiplayer, which I' m gonna go out on a limb and say it' ll be better than Nintendo' s. The new sub-genres coming to multiplayer on 360 are going to be wicked methinks. I know a lot of you here like side scrollers, etc, etc, and will probably say how boring the FPS genre is blah, blah, blah. I like them, millions of people like them, and hopefully 360 will have plenty of them.

Finally someone here who likes FPS.

Honestly...why the hell would you make a console that supported just 7 players? Why not just go all out and make it an 8 slot. That' s just something I' ll never understand...

Can' t wait to see a game split up into more than 4 screens. People already complain about split screen being to small, now it' s gonna take a freakin magnifying glass to see what' s goin on.

That' s Because there isn' t a true gamer on this planet that has more than 7 friends. Sony knows that.

Sweet! that makes me a true gamer! I only have like 6 friends! One of them happens to live in my head so we normally share a screen.

if you had seven friends, then wouldnt you need 8 slots anyways? plus you will prolly(or at least hopefully) be able to link systems. and dude, THAT would be sweet as hell. and dude, i have more than seven friends. i have about 8 or 9, if i count myself. im my own best friend.

i take a wicked ammount of offense to that. im not a casual gamer. im hardcore. hardcore to the max. if you mix video games with " other" stuff than other people come over. there are things you can do while playing that make you a rather popular fella.

Doesn' t matter what you do. Hardcore gamers have no more than 7 friends. If you gain an additional friend it automatically makes you a casual gamer. If you lose one of those friends you automatically revert back to being a hardcore gamer. It' s all very elementary

Yep, get rid of some of those friends of yours, preferably the ones that never bring any new or cool games over to your house, trim that number down to 7 and you' ll be hardcore again!!!!1!
