Went to war of the worlds last night. I liked it quite a bit, some sappy shit at the end, but overall it was pretty good. Just one big action sequence basically though, so if you are looking for something else, look elsewhere.

Saw most of The Final Cut tongiht. What I saw was really good, but I dozed through a lot of it. Not because it was boring, but because I was really tired. I plan to watch it again later.

Lots of movies (well, ok, a few) War of the Worlds : Thumbs up for action, big big boo hiss for the end (and Dakota Fanning' s endless screaming). I would recommend it for others, but I did not enjoy the ending. Be Cool : I have never seen " Get Short" but I still enjoyed this movie. Clever and quick paced, rather enjoyable. Batman Begins: Holy good movie Batman! I enjoyed it.... a lot! Christian Bale and Liam Neeson always get thumbs up from me, but the movie as a whole was good. Yeah, I might have a few minor complaints, but this was a movie deserving of the Batman name.

I recently watched the second Resident Evil Movie and was disappointed with it. I thought the first one was executed pretty well and captured the essence of the game, moreso than the sequel, which ironically featured characters from the actual game.

Saw Wedding Crashers this afternoon. I laughed. A lot. I think I really enjoy Vince Vaughn. There were slow parts, some rather... um..... vulgar humour bits, but enjoyable none the less.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: What a bizzare spectacle. The jury is still out, but I am pretty sure I liked it. I liked the off beat humour. Willy Wonka made me laugh. The songs were a bit odd, I wish they were a bit more audible. Overall, a decent movie.

i just charlie and the chocolate factory as well, and i must say it was really very good. i know alot of people who saw it and where expecting similar things as willy wonka and the chocolate factory, but this is not meant as a re-make and this is tim burton we are talking about here...never know what to expect from that guy. irregardless, it was awesome and johnny depp was very funny and very on target.

Just watched Constantine(saw it already), Hero(saw it already), and Hostage(first time seeing it. They were all kick a$$ movies. Hostage really stood out though. Bruce Willis is the f-ing man.

The Devil' s Rejects was f--kin great. Despite what many think its gonna be this is far from a horror flick and is actually psyhobillie thriller. Not even a gore fest all the violence fit well into the movie. The dialouge...dialog...di..how ever you spell it was damn impressive, the pacing worked great, the story was great, the directing was awsome. This is certainly a movie that isnt meant for everyone but those who watch will more then likly walk out impressed none the less. The most messed up thing is that you cant really tell who you want to win... A+++ Ignore your gut feeling and get yer ass out there and watch it seriously its nothing at all like House of a 1000 Corpses GO SEE IT DAMMIT SERIOUSLY!!!!

The Adventures of Baron Manchausen This is a movie directed by Terry Gilliam and simply one of his best (then again how often does he fail). This fantasy story runs similar to that of Big Fish and can be veiwed and enjoyed by the entire family, aside a beheading or 2 its actually quite nice. Highly recommended to everyone!

Saw the Devil' s Rejects. Crazy movie. It was so bizzare I don' t know what to think about it. Btw, it' s not a horror movie. I' m scared easily by movies and I didn' t even flinch during this one.

Wedding Crashers. A lot of people told me how awsome this was, so I went into it with high hopes which often ruins a movie. This lived up to all. I haven' t laughed that hard in a long time at the theatre. It goes a bit long in the end, but you will laugh a lot along the way. Not for the kiddies though, I think it' s rated R in the states, and 14A in Canada.

Just picked up Kung Fu Hustle - A pretty good beyond goofy as hell movie. The pacing was a bit up and down at times but the fighting was probably the mosty unique shit Ive seen outside anime. A cute little happy ending as well. The humor was at times stupid but so stupid you had to laugh cause it was oddly enjoyable.

The last movies I rented was Seed of Chucky and Meet The Fokkers. SOC was pretty good - better than some of the past one' s. MTF kept to the Meet The Parents storyline and level of humor. Both are recommended...

I know this is an old movie but wow, I was thoroughly impressed. I happened to be watching Spike Tv and I caught The Hunt for Red October. I thought it had a good plot and a little action packed with suspense in it for the movie being about submarines. I mean how are you gonna enjoy a movie about this underwater machine shooting torpedoes? Sounds a little boring to me. But don' t let that under rate this movie. You don' t want to pass up on this one.

Watched Hitch last night and thought it was fairly good for a romantic comedy. Also watched Shaolin Soccer (twice) which I thought was great fun.
