2-pacs may be a bit of a stretch, but hey it works. But I would enjoy MGS Online over xbox live. That was my favorite part of the game honestly. EDIT: Why's it say " A next Metal Gear is..." and not "The next Metal Gear is..." or someother variation that sounds more proper or whatever..." EDIT 2: And what the hell became of this: http://www.siliconera.com/2008/09/19/a-new-metal-gear-solid-game-exists/ ??? EDIT3: And then more over it just says metal gear not metal gear solid...I dunno I'm leaning more towards ac!d

EDIT 2: And what the hell became of this: http://www.siliconera.com/2008/09/19/a-new-metal-gear-solid-game-exists/ ??? In the article, he says... Going by the title alone it sounds like we’re going to visit the existence - or origins of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. So, since when does "existence" = "origins"? What a maroon! What they NEED to do is create a game that doesn't contain 95% cut-scenes!

Lets stick with the pretty interactive movie we have going on right now. The only MGS that is fun to play today is 4. The others were a mess, full of trial and error design, shitty AI, and clunky controls. And why are you still on Obamas dick? He's already showing his campaign was empty promises. All of his cabinet so far are Washington Insiders, Clinton Administration, and even 1 Bush-appointed guy. Change indeed.

2pac you solved the riddle. But MGS going to a Microsoft Console was jut inevitable.

No, it wasn't, not in the sense you're thinking at least. While Kojima productions has always ported their titles, they have a very strong working relationship with Sony. Sony pimps MGS, and shells out some very hefty exclusivity cash, and in turn, Konami retain brand loyalty.

Gotta say, it makes me laugh how people say "Oh! 360! Look at the button!" When that is actually the universal symbol for power on most electronics.

Chimura Gotta say, it makes me laugh how people say "Oh! 360! Look at the button!" When that is actually the universal symbol for power on most electronics. ...yet a concious decision was made to use it in this way... in this colour... and when that particular symbol has become synonymous with Xbox 360. Nobody even things about the actual 360 logo. Certainly not in the way they think about the PlayStation logo. Instead they think of the neon green power button.

Just to be annoying, isnt the ps3's power symbol also green? Although its more of a 'I/O'. Doesn't work for me anyway since my 360 faceplate is seethrough, all I see is the green LED. It obviously refers to the 360 and some online functionality though since anything else wouldn't be news. It could be Hideo Kojima's ticket out of the franchise too, to work on other things. I'd welcome that.

No, the symbol on PS3 doesn't light up. It's just chrome. There are a green and blue LED's but nothing even remotely similar to that. This teaser has been designed purposefully this way. The use of colour, wording and symbold are all specific. Whoever created it will have known that the initial reaction would be "MGS on 360!" . AC!D on iPhone is actually more likely though. I mean the ! from AC!D and i from iPhone/iPod... But then the iPhone doesn't have a power symbol like that... and there's no connection to the colour green.

Hmm, I was sure my friend's PS3 lit up like the picture above - as well as the two lights on the front corner. Doesn't matter though, you're probably right. I'm sure Kojima is pissing himself at the moment. I reckon he must just enjoy confusing the hell out of people, and watching their reaction. In that way MGS2 was his masterpiece.
