Snakebites are pints of half lager, half cider. In this case Stella and Strongbow. No blackcurrant because that'd for pussies... but occasionally with Jack - making it a Tarantula.

Some people use Guinness instead of lager... but that's just fucking nasty.

Anyway, Stella and i don't go together very well, ...which is a shame because it tastes nice.

 

I used to have snakebites made from bitter and Scrumpy Jack - now thats nice.
 
Or you could try Tan and Blacks which were half bitter half guinness.

Stella (proper) is great but most of the stuff you get in this country is actually brewed in the UK not in Belgium as its supposed to. You might as well use cheap generic strong lager instead for the same taste. This is just about the same for all commercial continental lagers though - think Becks was the only one where as standard it would be made where its supposed to.

Snake bite = Bottle of Pils and K cider (if you can still get them.) add to that a drop of black current cordial and a shot or 2 or sambuca...now that will screw you up.

That's a little extreme Joe isn't it - the hangover must be a killer.

I used to drink k cider, and diamond white (that's so 90's) but then realised they taste awful.

Also in my younger drunker days, used to do Shandys consisting of a bottle of Bud and a bottle of alcopop lemonade drunk simultaneously. The kebab never really sat well on it for some reason.
